You can learn from anything

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve learned a lesson from the weirdest places. It’s like the Karate Kid movies where Mr. Miyagi is making Daniel do weird things like wash the windows and floors, yet he derives a lesson from these tasks.

I think the weirdest situation that ever taught me a lesson was when I was sitting on a log in Georgia. I was at Fort Benning at basic training in 2012, looking at my friend, Reyes. I learned that no matter how bad life gets, you can bounce back.

Look at all experiences as a lesson to be learned. Flat tire? Learn patience and preparedness. Broke? Learn your lesson about spending too much.

ACTION STEPS – Look at a struggle or high in your life and find a lesson buried in it.

Are you ready to be entre vied? Let's break free of the life we're told to live, create freedom and well, by adding value to others live, challenge traditions, challenge authority and get onto ified. Hey, guys, welcome to Entre fired. Today is March 16th 2020. The crone of ours is going him and just destroying the world is crazy. People are freaking out. Hope you have told the paper because definitely gonna need it to wipe away the tears and for other purposes. Uh, yeah, it's definitely becoming crazy out there, but anyway, I'm not here to talk about that today I'm talking about Well, I can I am here to talk about you can learn from anything so you can learn something from anything that happens. So, for example, with crisis with the Corona virus going on right now, you can learn from this. You can take this as an opportunity to learn and grow a lot of Ah, a lot of companies are working from home. A lot of people are implementing, you know, using online solutions work from home zoom meetings online, and these are and these air actually teaching, you know, businesses, CEOs, owners that. Hey, we have the Internet. Why are we committing toe work every day? Wasting gas and resource is and they're learning from this. A lot of companies are going to be learning from this data. You know, they could see a massive improvement and work from home status awhile. Production's up 30% because people are working from home instead of sitting in traffic for two hours a day. And that's really cool. And so I think you really have an opportunity to learn from anything because yes, it's karaoke bars. Maybe bad, but we will overcome it. We've always overcome things that have happened. Epidemics, pandemics. We've always overcome them as a society. And you have to have faith in humanity that we can and we will. That's really all you can do. And so I definitely think, Well, we'll definitely overcome this. I don't know how how long it's gonna take or with, but we will. Ah, And if you're a new listening to the show, this is entre fied talking about business life and growing into your success. And just today focusing on learning from anything. So I can't tell you how many times I've learned a lesson from the weirdest places. It's like the chronic kid movies where Mr Miyagi is making Daniel do weird things like Scrubbed the floors and circles and all these other weird things everything. The movie and Wow. But I know he made him do weird household chores which think correlated to his karate. And so he took a lesson from You're using household chores and made that into a successful fighting style and a successful fighter. So one thing I want to talk about is hell. When he was cleaning, his wasn't floor. He derived lessons from each of these tasks, and I really think that's really important to look at it and to think about because I guess it earlier you can learn from anything like this Corona virus situation. I mean, they shut down hockey games, uh, NBA games. All these sports centers, even Disneyworld is shut down, and it's a really big deal. It's a really big deal because these guys love money and they're actually putting people's safety over money. That's a pretty big deal, these big corporations, and it's nice to see that. I mean, obviously there's going to be new infrastructure problems. Pop up in America like the health care situation. I think it's hilarious how you know we they have Corona virus testing. But 800 million Americans don't have any form of health insurance because we're the only nation in America without, you know, a health care system that isn't basically paid to live. And I don't want to get off on a political stance here, but that's kind of the direction I've been going. Um, keeping on the positive lighter side, though I think the weirdest situation ever taught me a lesson was when I was sitting on a log and Georgia I wasn't forbidding back in 2012 at basic training for the Army, and I was looking at my buddy Ray as he was sitting on the stump across me. I had actually took it a shovel and chopped it down and made it a little couch out of my tree stump. It was fairly comfortable, and I remember looking over a raise, and it was a guy that was with me, and I thought about No, no, no matter how bad life kids, you can always come back. You always bounce back, no matter how bad it gets out there, there's always gonna be a bottom and who knows where that is and we try to time. That bottom is when you miss up, but often times just waiting until you get to the bottom and just keep going. Keeping in mind the vision of bouncing back, overcoming and being positive and grateful. Keeping that attitude, that gratitude is attitude, you know, keeping that going that will spur you into greater success. It's definitely a challenge to to do that in the midst of opposition, such as today we face the Chron virus and like I said, I'm hitting hard on this here recently because it seems it's everywhere and it's really become a fairly big problem in today's society in the world. I think it is blown out of proportion like all things are with the media and we definitely gonna overcome it, and it won't be years. It'll be a couple months and we'll have vaccines ever to be okay. But you have to take and learn lessons from this what, like World War two, when what were two came about? Guess what happened. The industrial age just really boomed. Assembly lines went crazy and because of a world war, it actually spirit spurred America, America, She's America into becoming a global power and really becoming a very rich, wealthy nation because the war taught them to use the assembly line and new methods. And so what is this Corona virus gonna teach us? What lessons will teach us to have a better healthcare foundation? I mean, what? You have to look at it from a different perspective. Different positive life. So main point today, look at all experiences as a lesson to be learned. You know, you have a flat tire. Okay, that's a lesson to be learned. Where you prepared or d on the money to replace the tire means a lesson from that. You can learn patients and preparedness like patients. Okay, you gotta pull over. You got to get that out of your car. You got a screw tire jacket, picaresque retire. Put anyone and prepared this. Stephen, have a Jack. I've been in a situation one time where me and me and my my fiance we she went out with the first started dating. She didn't have a jack or anything and retire with flat. And we were sitting on the interstate for, like, three hours, and it was fairly miserable. Um, fairness is definitely a key incentive with he thing you want to keep in the back of your mind. Are you broke because of this Corona virus, You can't work. I mean, really, whose fault is that? Uh, a lot of people in America loved to play the blame game. You know, blame healthcare, blame infrastructure, blame all that. But in reality, it's your fault. I mean, it's your fault. Okay? You're making minimum wage. What did you do to get you in that situation? You had to do something. You know, there's definitely an extent to what you can control. Now, if there's no circumstances that you can't like, I don't know You just had a divorce or something, something that you really can't control. And you're losing money because of it, then that that is truly no bad situation. But if you're making minimum wage because your whole life you've just decided to play video games all day and drink beer on the weekends of friends and now you're complaining because you only have 100 bucks left and you can't work because of the crown of ours. That's your fault. That's your problem. You need to figure that out. So learn you met. Learn your lesson on spending, budgeting and increasing your income Mean that those your problems, There's nobody else's and I'm really, honestly, it's in my situation. It's like, Wow, this Khurana vise is really taking a lot of people out, and it reminds me a lot of the government shutdown back last year in January and how people were blaming the government for that. But it's your fault. Is nobody else's than yours. If you're not budging correctly and properly, there's a great book out there. By Dave Ramsey. TOTAL MONEY MAKEOVER Go check it out if you know if you're broke. That's what you should be reading because it's your fault. Nobody else is. So now here to hark on you guys beat you down. But here, to tell you the truth, be honest with you and to help you spot these opportunities to grow as a person in today's action steps. I just want you to look at a struggle or a high in your life and find a lesson buried in it. What are you going through right now find a lesson. You know, you could be going to the greatest time of your life. Amazing business. Living on the beach every day, having just a blast. I mean, is that where you are right now? What lesson can you derive from that being humble, could you learn how to be more humble? What if you're in a valley? What if you broke Corona virus wiped you out? You know any money because of your works? Shut down. What lesson can you take from that? Oh, I should work harder. I should be more disciplined. Maybe those are some lessons you could pull from that situation. And, uh, yeah, it's definitely, definitely only gonna get worse as faras the the virus. Because, you know, we're the whole world shut down. So every company's gonna be impacted by that. Jobs are gonna be impacted by that. Boeing is stopped hiring people, and it's probably going to go out of business. It's 2008 pretty much all over again. But this time it's because because of a virus. And, uh, a lot of companies were very comfortable borrowing a lot of money. And now no, this random pop up has happened. A lot of people aren't prepared. I mean, how many days How many years of your life have you ever just had the world declare? Pandemics are just halt the whole world. I mean, this isn't there. A common occurrence is very rare. And so companies weren't prepared for this. So this is gonna probably create new jobs. Perhaps, you know, critical critical funds manager. Some like that, you know, like retainers. Maybe companies make you know, bigger retainers or emergency funds. In case something like this does happen. It's very big deal. So thanks. Listen to the episode today, Guys. Hope you stay safe out there. Don't get it. Don't go in the large groups. Wash your hands, take care yourself. Take you to your bodies to kill you business and enjoy your life.
