Are you ready to be entre Vied? Let's break free of the life we're told to live, create freedom and well, by adding value to others live, challenge traditions, challenge authority and get onto ified. Hey, guys, this is Jeff. This is five minutes of random thoughts with Jeff. I'm Jeff your hosts, and I'll be of this podcast anyway. And I'll be going over several different things today. I hope. Guys, I'm adding great value, your life. It's really my goal on these podcasts to make jam packed with information so that you just like a value machine you have will smoke coming at you years that there's so much values. Well, can you imagine a cartoon right now? Okay, I'm being silly. The point is, when you start adding Maur value and more value and more value and more value to your life, Eventually things start showing up in your life that make you more successful. Your associations have power. The things you do have power the people you hang around remember the associations they affect your life. Guys, don't be so naive to think that if you're always putting in bad and you start seeing bad, come out like you're hanging around people that cuts all the time and one of them slips out of your mouth. What does that matter? Let me tell you, when you have that high degree of integrity and we have that moral thread, believe me, people notice. And if you don't think that, well, that's everybody's got an opinion on it, you know? But I'm telling you, structure your life where you continually make progress and you become better. Put yourself with people that are doing great. That's not going to get to the point that, you know, I like the action steps a lot. I've got a lot of information to get through here, and I don't know if I could get through in one, but I'm one podcast, but I'm gonna try. You know, I tried the five minute thing on these on this five minutes, Siri's. But let me get to the point. One of the things is leverage. You know, I have rent houses and do different things, and I've been involved with different businesses over a period of my life. And so I have some of those where businesses, some of them so just kind of a brick and mortar type of business. I've operated business from my home. Most of them has been either online or a home business type thing. Uh, Lex said the rent houses is a little different, you know, that type of thing, but let me get into it. Leverage. You know what I mean by that? Sometimes you may have more money than you've got time. Sometimes you might have more time than you've got money. Sometimes you may have certain skills that you can put together. Communicate well where people can organize things where you could organize things to get a job done. You know, there's a lot of things that you can do. You can organize talent. Maybe you've got a skill of organizing talent to structure a team to take on a project, and you make money off of the laborers of that particular project. You're compensating them as well, but you're being able to organize all of this skill and you're getting paid from other people's efforts. It kind of sounds sleazy, doesn't it? You know what it's called business, and it's not sleazy. If you make sure you're compensating people right and you're doing the right things, right? I know that's a lot to take in, but I want to ask you what is your leverage point? I hope you get what I mean by that. Do you have more time than money? Well, then you may need to take on the project yourself where you don't have the experience. There's too much stuff to know. Well, then you need to look for talent. You know, you need to find people that can do it. You might say what you can't find good people. Start where you're at and try to figure out the next step of where you're at. You're gonna run into problems. That's one of the things that you're gonna find with business. I don't care what business city is. You're guaranteed problems. You know, at one time a person told me that they couldn't afford to lose money that couldn't take a risk toe, lose money. I didn't say it in front of him. And I thought to myself, Though you can't afford not to, you can't afford to not risk some money. Now, if you're looking short term, it doesn't make sense. You start thinking long term. If you're not investing. You're not growing. You're not adding to your skills. Hey, that's a problem. Long term Because believe me, your competitors. So let me get to the next point leverage. Find your leverage point. It could be money. Could be getting people. You know, there's a lot of things it is, but there could be for you. But make sure you find out what you can use to your advantage. You have to find an advantage, okay? With what you're doing, Okay. The timeto work on not being able to put a value of task jobs and Mauritz. What I know that wrote down and looking at that. That don't make sense. What was talking about anyway? I don't know what I was thinking about that, but one of the things I wanted to talk to you about was is making time, making time, making the use of your time and whatever you're doing. You know, if you're having the work, make sure you're doing good work, you know, And don't be thinking about other things. You know, sometimes we can get to the point where we just were like, you know I don't want to be here. I don't want to do this. And it's a mindset. Guys, if you start looking at it, is how can I make this? But they better, you know, How can I do that? You may be starting to think about it different. It's because your mind is drifted and sometimes we don't catch our mind. Well, our mind to drift we start thinking about Wouldn't it be nice just to sit back and watch TV? Don't think about that stuff. Don't think about it. If you're supposed to be doing something right now and you know what you need to do in the moment, Don't consider the things you don't need to think about Just refused to think about those things And when they come up in your mind redirect redirect what you need to do Guys, I hope you're getting something from this, But I'm telling you, if you will take control of your mind and sometimes that takes a lot of time just to learn Thio, get to the point where you can even do this to a small degree because we're so emotionally driven to what we won't You know we want a doughnut so we go get a doughnut. You know we want to play so we won't play. We don't want to work. Were gives your life context. Sometimes I don't understand what that means. What I mean is this. If you didn't have work and just don't have nothing to do, what would you do every day? Would you be just purely on your motions? Just like you know what that's like. I'm going to sleep to reverse today and some of you out there might be thinking, man, that don't sound that bad. What have you done that for the next 10 years of your life? That's all you were doing with sleep? No, that could not be that man. If you ever done it, I don't think that you would be a happy person because you're not being productive. Stop looking at work is the enemy. Look at it is Maybe one day I'll be able to do the work that I want to do that I'll be able to choose the things I want to do. But in the days that you've got things going on, think how can I make this day better? I've gotta be in here anyway, doing this thing I mean, it could be different things for you guys. I don't wanna get into specifics of it, But what I'm trying to say is start looking at it different. Start looking at it from the point of view of Okay, I'm here right now. How can I make the best of this? How could I make this a better day? How can I enjoy it? Ask those questions right down those answers and then start applying it. The things that make sense, that is, Well, I just posed this podcast from and it looked at my notes re read that sentence. And finally, I think I know what I was talking about. And it was put a value on the jobs that you have to get done. You know, sometimes I'm involved with like like I said, a lot of remodel stuff, You know, I have people that is working for me. You know what? I have to go in and know what's going on and know how I'm gonna do this. And I'm gonna remodel the kitchen or what am I gonna do? You know, I'm not gonna let it rip the way it is. And, uh, the truth of the matter is, I have to make a lot of decisions because I like working with, you know, people. So I had to get to the point where I realized that Hey, do I have time for this? Can I do this? And there's that emotional element. I like to be involved, too, but should I can my time but you somewhere else. So you have to put you have to put something in where it needs to be. In other words, if I need to be somewhere else, I need to know what hiken structure things that makes sense. There's only so much time, you know, you could look at it. His percentage angst 50% of my time here, 50% of my time here. That's if you've got just two things. What have you got? 10 things going on all the time. How do you structure things to make sure that you're getting the things that you need to get done and you're not just simply doing things the way you want to do? Does that make sense? It's kind of like the thing when you need to be working, you're playing, you know, that's Maybe what you want to do is play or think about something else, you know? And I believe in balance, guys, I really do. But what I'm trying to say is this When you got the balance, right, you rested, you're ready to go to work and you're not working. Let's just be real for a minute. You're just taking a moment where you just you're out. You're not being productive. You're letting your mind drift. It's the same way with other things, too. If you got a lot of things to get done, you need to look at it logically. Look at it. It's what do I need to get done now mind you do what I tell you to do, and that's what it boils down to. Guys, I hope you got something from this. I'm way over today. I hope I've added great value to your life. Look for those action steps, get our notes. A lot of the notes that we put together. It's just easier if you just get him from us and that way that you've got him right there and you don't have to just go over and try to figure it out listen to this. Absorb, what's good? Get rid of what's not good for you. And I hope you're like I said. I hope this is at a great value to you. We'll see you next time. Bye bye.
