Everyday, remind yourself that you are amazing, but you still have a long way to go. Know that there is always someone better than you and that person is yourself. Always compare you to you and only you. This will keep you humble.

I constantly am comparing myself to myself. I have a gratitude journal that I read each day and I write down how I could have done better than I did yesterday.

You can always improve something. Don’t think you are too good or you can be complacent because you have been successful in the past.

ACTION STEPS – “Success is never owned. It is only rented, and the rent is due every day.” Vaden says that to fully ingrain this principle. Simply replace the word success with whatever is important to you.

Are you ready to be entre vied? Let's break free of the life we're told to live, create freedom and well, by adding value to others live challenge traditions, challenge authority and get on terrified. Hey, guys, welcome to the show. Hope you're ready to get entre fied Thio today we're gonna be talking about be humble said down as a kindred Kamar song Things called humble. And I always think that when I hear the word humble now because he says be humble, like 27 different times. But great song Um, so anyway, here we're talking about today is just being humble, being humble because it's a very powerful thing. Being humble, it definitely keep you in check. It keeps you going and it keeps people around you because if you become a Rh again, you become egotistical. You're going to start to push people away. So you don't want to be that way. You want to be humble, so every single day you need to remind yourself that you are amazing, but you still have a long way to go. So every day I wake up, I have a gratitude journal and my friend Dr Ryan God Ferguson. He was on a past episode e nt 64 with Dr Ryan got Ferson. We talked about mindset and how to have a bigger Ah, a greater mindset. He's a leadership professor and really great content. If you're a leader, our CEO, you're an entrepreneur. You're a leader of any kind of people. You definitely need to hear that episode. So it's e n t 64 with Dr Ryan Got person. We talked about this book, this journal, and it changed his life and actually bought it. I give it a shot. I've been using it for 20 days straight now, every single day, and it really has made me a better person. I'm, you know, I'm feeling better. I haven't really noticed a monumental effect yet, but I feel like as time compound, I will begin to notice, you know, a greater impact on myself. So a lot of a lot of stuff in it is every day you wake up, you write three things you're grateful for three things you're gonna do today and three affirmations. You know, I am amazing. I am a business owner. I am a leader and then gives you a nice little quote many of the end of the day. You write what you did for the day and then you because then you humble yourself. You kill your ego, you write three things you didn't do great. What are three things you mess up on? Three things You didn't do great. And that is what sells this book for me. This five minute journal or I'ma Grab it. It's just called a Gratitude Journal Journal five minute today to develop gratitude, mindfulness and productivity. So it's very become very impactful on my life. And ah, definitely definitely have been helping me. But the 90 that the journal has, Ah, 90 days, and it's definitely, you know, after 90 days, I'll definitely let you got snow. How big of an impact it's played on my life. I haven't missed a single day yet, so I'm big on consistency. It's one of the biggest strong suits, is being consistent, So it's definitely important that you day in, day out, be success and have it be consistent. Have a great quote for you guys, too, that it kind of tie that in coming up. But I know that there's always someone better than you. And that person is yourself. That person is yourself. It's Don't be comparing yourself to Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates. Tim Cook. Don't be comparing yourself to these guys. You lot musk. Compare yourself to yourself from yesterday because in that journal is also an entry that says, What are you going to do tomorrow To become better? And so you list two things out there you're gonna do. The next day you become better, and it's very important to factor in what you're gonna do to become a better leader, a better entrepreneur and a better person. I'm there next day. This will keep you humble, always comparing yourself to you, and only you will keep you humble because you'll realize that no matter how great you are, you always have somebody to be and that yourself you could be the best brain surgeon in the world. But you steal, have some competition and that is you. Because let's say you slack off. Let's see you. You become the best brain surgeon in the world. Five years later, this guy tries harder. He spends more our studying boom, he surpasses you. You're not the bread best brain surgeon in the world anymore. So that was caused by you being complacent, being egotistical and arrogant. And you thought that you were the best in the world. So you don't have to do it anymore. And you didn't pay your dues to success. So you lost your privilege. Yeah, you, you they check your privilege. Um, I'm constantly personally comparing myself to myself. That's really it. It's just me versus me. Where was a year ago? Where was 10 days ago? 30 days ago? That gratitude. Your honor, I've been telling you guys about it was five bucks. And that's not for 90 days of comparisons and help me map out my life. Write it out, Get my stuff under control. But it's totally worth it. Totally worth the investment. You can always improve in something you can always improve. Have this practice where I put a sticky note on a window in my bathroom and on that sticking out, I write everything in my life that I've mastered completely 100%. And guess what? It's still blank to this day. It's still blank to this day, so that also humbles me. That always puts me in check. Don't ever think you're too good or you can become complacent? Like I said earlier, because you have been successful in the past doesn't mean you're gonna be successful in the future. If you just stop, you have to keep doing what made you successful in the past and do it even Maur. That's how you get better than you were. That's how you become a better version of yourself. And so here's the action step for today, it's kind of more of a quote, but at the same time there's a little insert you can change up. Success is never owned, it is only rented, and the rent is due every single day to fully ingrain. This principle simply replaced the word success with whatever is important to you. So let's say podcast. Podcasting, podcasting is never owned is only rented, and the rent is due every day. That's why I'm pockets every day. That's why journal every day because when I take my foot off the pedal and I start being complacent, relaxed when I stopped caring. When I stop trying is when somebody surpasses me and this, you know I lose that footing and I start to become complacent, not fall to the wayside, Emma. Nobody. I mean. And even if you are nobody right now, you're definitely gonna become my even bigger. Nobody in the future if you if you stop paying your success, rent and whatever your endeavor you're going for so hope that helps. Today, guys hope it helps you become a better leader.
