Are you ready to be entre Vied? Let's break free of the life we're told to live, create freedom and well, by adding value to others live challenge traditions, challenge authority and get on terrified. Hi, guys. This is Jeff. I'm here with Patrick. Patrick, how are you doing today? Oh, you know, just make it chugging along like a little train. A good deal. Listen, that, guys, this might be a shorter podcast, and it may turn out to be a longer when he knows, but we get going. Me and Patrick, we go when we have a lot of fun doing this. We hope you get a lot of value from this podcast. Ah, and the podcast, Each one of them is a podcast. You know, it's funny thing, Patrick, when I got into this podcast business, you know, people straight time with podcasts, You know, it's before I started one, and obviously, before we started entre fighter, you started on provide, not joined on. But ah, you know, podcasts is a term that each one of them is a podcast. So if you say somebody's got a podcast, that's one way of saying that they got a podcast. They're talking, You know there are. They're offering value, hopefully to the people. And then each podcast is a part cast. I've kind of found that odd. If you ever thought about that, that sounds kind of like TV and TV show. Yeah, exactly. Anyway, I'm getting off topic gonna be just my wild imagination on that one. But I wanted to talk about what's the next thing in your life that you need to get going right now. So that's what I'd like for you to think about right now, you know? What's that? Next thing in your life that could benefit you. You know pretty much where you're at. What's that next thing that you need to do now? It could be that thing that would give you the most benefit. Okay, It could be just the next step that you need to take in. Your journey could be in your business, but I want to just challenge you for a minute. And I think that's more relevant. That that last statement that I just said, What's the next thing that you could do that would give you the most benefit and what you're looking at? You know. So if it's your business, what sent? Next thing that will give you the most benefit. I want you to think about that. Write that down. If you would it. Just think about that, you know, because everybody finds their self in a place. Okay. Not everybody is in the same that we're not on the same level in all these things, people are doing different things. But the question is, what am I doing now? Yeah, I know. You may want super success, and maybe you're already super successful, and maybe you're just starting out, you know? But the person is starting out. Probably wants to be sick for successful guys. But that's not the next day. The next step for them might be just getting a business license where it might be. Hey, I've got a product. I need to find out how to market that. So, what's that next step for you guys? That's what I'm encouraging you to think about right now. Patrick, Do you know what the next step for entre fied is? It would. We're doing it. It's ah. So get that next episode out there and to make it better than the last one. There's Wow, there's a lot. There's a lot that we could be doing. But there's only one thing we should be doing. And that is focusing on this content because and I'll tell you guys that because you guys maybe think around that like you're not focusing on making $1000 a day, a month, a year no, man, that's not the focus, you know, making money off of an idea that should be an afterthought. That should be a secondary idea. So you should be. You should be committed and married toe one idea and just kind of bounce off. You said the next thing you know, if you need to do that giving the most benefit. Well, I can tell you right now that from my experience, you need to commit to whatever that next thing you choose. So I'm choosing podcast. So I'm choosing podcast is my commitment. I'm not going to go out there and choose five other different business ideas. Were s social media, whatever. I'm not gonna try five different things. I mean, look at it from a perspective of ah of a relationship. You don't date five different women. I mean, you can try, but it may not work out in the end. And eventually they all turn around to bite you in the butt and or they figure out about each other, and it all goes south. Uh, generally, When will you tell Mr Patrick? Hey, I'll tell you, I tried this, and it doesn't work. Uh, um, General, when you commit to one idea, it's like committing to one woman. You take the next step, you do the you do the engagement part, you get the business license, you get married, you take that really big first Kickstarter loan or whatever, you you deposit a lot of money, and you really put some skin in the game cause that's what you do when you're getting married. You're putting some skin in the game. When you're marrying this idea of yours, you're putting skin in the game. And I'm not talking 1000 bucks. I'm talking. You're putting 20 grand in. Are you putting in have your life savings, all of it because you really have something you want to be married to. You really have that next thing in life that that will give you the most benefit you're doing it. And And you either you either win or you learn. You don't really fail. You're not gonna fail from your business idea. You either gonna learn something from it and and probably lose all your money. In the process, you're basically paying for a course or you win and you knock it out of the park. It could go either way, but you never fail unless you choose to fail. So marrying one idea, it's just like mayor and one woman. You take each step, you go along the path and you really be committed. Because if you're not committed, you lose everything. So the next thing for me in life right now is this podcast. I'm married to it. I'm doing it. You're not gonna see me drop shipping? I don't know. T shirts on Amazon. You're not going to see me on anybody trying to flip toys? You're not gonna see me out there trying to drop ship. Uh, you know, whatever random objects you're not gonna see me on shop of five building a store, I'm doing one thing, and that's it. I'm not even really posting on social media or anything. I'm just 100% focus and married to the idea of giving great content and delivering the best I can. Um, what do you What is that? Next thing in life that your folks on there, Jeff? Well, I was thinking about drop shipping and t told us No, no, to the point. I mean, really add value, which I say that most all the time. You know, to the quality content is the main thing. You know, I have been involved in riding and doing things is for us writing things down for years, you know? And I didn't even know for a long time why I was doing that. You know, I do enjoy helping people, you know? I think really, to be honest with you, if you're that type of person, you find that out pretty soon. I don't think it's something that surprises you. You know, light in life. I think you just for the most part, I think a lot of us were just If you find yourself, you like to help people and you like to teach people in him from or they're at, you know, it's something you know, right away. So adding that quality content that add value to somebody's life. You know, it just it helps me because I enjoy seeing other people do well. And for me, that's the gold, but quality content, making sure that I'm giving that quality, you know, because it's so easy sometimes to be get off of that. And you know another thing. I don't know why it keeps coming to mind, but one of the things I like to do and sometimes I get on my soap box and I'm not doing this but is being short and sweet and concise and straight to the point. You know what? There's a time for business, you know. And, uh, that's Ah, that's very important. I have no personal relationships, as most people do. I think also have business relationships, and I can tell you that the older I get in, the more I get involved in business. Uh, sometimes there's a big contrast between who I am business wise and who I am personally, because when I'm talking, when I'm talking business, it's got to the point anymore that I want. You have your you know, your facts and everything straight and you know I'm dealing with the information that I'm trying to get straight to the point on. Ah, and in my personal life, it may not be that way. I might, you know, sit down, talk story and just be there and enlist. The people talk about things, but sometimes and businesses it's become so fast that just to stay effective and productive, you have to make sure that you're getting to the point quickly. You're not wasting other people's times, times their time, so these are all points that you can write down. You know, it is making sure that you're valuing other people's time. You're getting straight to the point of the things that they need to know. These were some of the things that I've learned over time, as far as personal. You know, sometimes I think I have wasted a lot of people's time by talking about personal things, you know, and I know that sounds strange and people, so what? You got to develop a relationship. You know, the truth of the matter is, you can start with a good business relationship, and you know, if a personal relationship develops later, as far as a friendship, I mean, um, you know that's great. But most the time when you're when you're dealing with business people respect the fact that you respect their time and you get to the point quickly and those type of things. But to get to the point, you know, I mentioned quality. Patrick is the main thing that, um, that I try to add is a value. Um, one of the things I wanted to talk about today sing like guys that went down another rabbit hole, but, uh, this all ties in together. You know, I want you to get an overview of what you really won't. Some of these were some of the action points that I want to bring out today. So how do you know what you want if you don't have an overview of it? Have you ever thought about that? I mean, if I said okay, what do you want for your life? Some of you out there may say, Well, you know what? I think life is just gonna find me. I'm not gonna have to have no plan. I don't believe it. A bland diet. I'm not against you guys. If that's how you want to do it But let me tell you, I think to be honest with you, in order to make sure that you get the right target in the right spot, you at least have to know where the target's located. So I overview of what you want me to find out what you want in the major areas of your life. Okay, so you're talking about professionally. Orb is having personally, you want to marry a certain person. What's that person look like? What's that person's values, you know? And then And I'm not talking about being detailed. I know a lot of people were a detail out at this point, but what I'm talking about is an overview. So if you're writing down notes number one on overview of what you won't in the major areas of your life personal business, you know spiritually, you know, I mean the major areas of your life you need to have it least. Okay, I want to say I want to be a basketball star. I want to be, you know, a professional golfer. Let's use something that a sport. Say what? I want to be a CEO of a company. What does that you can be a little bit most specific that than that. But you could say I want to be in this field a CEO, Okay? And you write that down, okay? You do that with all the major areas of your life, that's the first step. Okay, you've got to have something to shoot at. So knowing how to get there and do it, that's also important. So write down the overview of your major areas and then ask yourself, How am I going to get there? They didn't have a general statement, You say? Okay, I think I can get here by doing this. And if you'll notice there's all these different major areas, Okay, so you'll have a little Senate's beside each one of them. Not remember. This is not completely detailed out. You know, I could say I want to be a CEO of ah, pencil. Well manufacturer, you know, and you could get into OK, Anwar, do this and sails. And I want to make sure counting is doing this. And I want to make sure that I t department and is doing that. You could get granular with this thing. I'm not asking you to do that. I'm asking you to get just a point. If this makes sense to you, have something that's a major point and then move on to how am I going to get there? Guys, I know I'm talking a lot here. And Patrick, I'll let you chime in in a minute here, but I want to go on the one more thing. That's accountability. After you know how to do something, you've got to make yourself accountable to take action on it. If you don't do that thought without action equal Sager. What do you think about that, Patrick? Yes. So, uh, you know what that actually was? I didn't, um heaven an earlier point. And I was gonna talk about and it was kind of pertained. Thio, Where you, as far as like simplicity, right? How you goes on those lines. There's there's two different ways. I see people do it. And the first way is, though they'll be, they will be very detailed. I'll say I'm going to accomplish this goal. Um, December 30th 2020. I'm gonna, uh, make $5 million from my business this year. About 2020. Now we'll make a very specific and I've tried that, and for me it didn't work for Some people may work, but I really here Recently I've really been just dumbing it down. It's simple. Is butter I mean, just simple. Like I read the investors. What is the investor's business guy or whatever that Warren Buffett always suggest? I read it and and one thing I took from it, the biggest antic from it was, is You should be able to simply but may have been Bill Gates. Somebody said this, but you should be able to describes something you're invested in simply enough that anybody can understand it. I probably butcher that, but you should be able to say, Hey, Jeff, time best in this stock because I believe space is going to just kill it. Spaces is a good idea. So I mean it. Very simple, because the other extreme, that is you have a trader who's got this chart up with 37 different numbers. He's got the Web he's got, you know, he's got, um, always forgive. When I start talking about, you know, like the Web, he's got our SA. He's got volume weighted average. He's got the what do you call that the remainder of the P A P ratio pulled up. I mean super complex. You could not describe that anybody, and so you can go super complex are super simple. And I take it quote from Bruce Lee. Its simplicity is the shortest distance between two points. So just being simple, being just simple and do and just approaching life simply. I've been trying that lately, and it's hilarious, but I feel really good almost all the time. I mean, I have my bad days. I mean down there. But oh, I'm just trying to think simply about almost everything. Hey, Patrick, would it? What do you do on podcast? I'm talking about this topic simple, simple, and that way it's not too complex. I can pretty much explain this show to seven year old. I mean, that's that's a go to be simple, but be very, very direct and be very powerful. And that's gonna what Jeff was talking about, cutting out the fluff and the you know that all the, um, you know, sometimes some people just go too long on the social aspect, trying to connect that you don't always need that. Sometimes just a simple straight point because that's the shortest distance to effect mints. Um and then I know I kind of went back on that one a little butt. And the next thing you're talking about was thought without action equals failure and just thinking about that. Um, yeah. I mean, it's it's it's really when you have an idea and you don't make a connection between that idea to reality and that's all it is, is an idea. I mean, I see all the time these guys will come and no post. Um, you know, stuff about how that was their idea. They had that idea why somebody stole it or somebody took my idea. But don't take your idea. I mean, maybe they did, but they put it in action. Clearly, they did something with it. I'm not saying people don't steal stuff, But what I'm saying is, is that you know, you're you're looking at a pin and saying Masher, the thought is I mean, clearly, if you had the opportunity, how many? How many people at the time that the pin was invented had the ability to come up with to create the pen? Ah, lot of people probably millions of people had the opportunity. But guess what? One guy did it. It's just like Thomas Edison with the light bulb. You know Nicolas Tesla? He actually created all the, uh, yeah, he had all the idea for it. Thomas Edison just made it work. He just put it in action. Tessa was all theory, um, so just being all theory and no action, I mean, it's it's it's unfortunate to say, but you're really I'm honestly wasting your potential in your brain space, and you're you're really exhausting yourself over something. If you just took action on it took simple action. Because, remember, simplicity is the shortest distance between two points. If you put that into effect with your thought that you're thinking of like right now, if you're thinking I need to start business, what is the most simple next step of doing that? Well, the most simple next step I could think of is to email us success and entre five dot com and be like, Hey, how do you do this? Or what If you have somebody of this brother relative somebody close to you that's in business, just saying Hey, how do I get started. Where'd I go? Do I start? Ah, So proprietorship Loc No s Corp C court. Where would I go? I goto Where'd I go to get this license? How much does it cost? That should be. I mean, you should just take everything step by step. You should do it simply. And you should figure you should talk with somebody who's been there, done that if you haven't. And you should really just build off of that and you should put it in the action. Even if it's just the ugliest thing you ever saw. I mean, imagine as a kindergartner. They tell you to color a picture and you draw out of the lines. You color it. You color yourself as you're I don't know, Green. You're green person. I mean, you're just all over the place, your kindergartener color in your picture. And then 20 years later, you color that picture and it's way better Then it was back then. Well, that's because you took in the action. You've gotten better at it. Of course. You started out looking like I mean just terrible. Terrible. I mean, I remember in kindergarten, teacher was like may look how much improved over one here. I was like, Wow, that's really bad. And so you have to come out of gate pretty much knowing that you're not gonna be You're not gonna just hop on a skateboard and be Tony Hawk. Tomorrow you're gonna go to Wal Mart. You gonna buy a skateboard and go bust your butt. And I mean, this is how it goes. So don't expect. Don't expect it to be easy. When I say simplicity is the shortest distance, don't expect that short distance to be an easy distance. It's just the shortest. Quickest way is to go head on with that action. Take it and then you're probably gonna bust your butt a few times. I hate to tell you guys, but I know I've made a lot of blunders and all that. So, yeah, that's my long winded answer. Okay. What do you have a lot of good information in there? You know, I do want to make a correction. When I said you know what I had said that thought without H let me spit it out here again. Thought without action equals failure. You know, that's not entirely That's not entirely true, it's not true, But let me put it this way. Thought without action gets you So far, at least you had the thought. You know you're thinking about it. But if you don't take that next step, sometimes it don't lead you to that next level. So it is good that you're thinking it's not a failure in that sense, so it's not a failure. Still, thought without action is not a failure, but thought without action sometimes does not get you to that next level that you could have been on. So I hope you guys can get that of the capture. Your thoughts is the next thing I want to talk about. You know, if you're having thoughts, you know, it's one of those things where if you capture your thoughts, you're gonna be able to remember a lot more, because you can look back at it. If you get to the point where you're just like, Oh, I'll remember that, you know, I couldn't remember just to write this down. You know you may not, and I've mentioned before I have MP three players. I have a note pad, you know? I mean, I'm telling you what I have to plug in, Patrick. I mean, sometimes if you just see me, I'm telling you, it's some of the things I would be thinking. I got to record this, but things were coming so fast that I just actually cannot write fast enough. And I had Yeah, I have to take the MP three player. And so you know what? Maybe I can talk as fast or close to as fast as the thoughts are coming to me, but as far as riding, you know, sometimes it's not fast enough. And then other times it's plenty, you know, I mean, I could just write down a fault, but if something's air coming to me, you know, in really fast I have to have the tools and the resource is in place to grab and be able to take care of something to be able to capture that thought. So I encourage you guys to keep the resource is of the things that you need around you. I mean, it could be for thoughts. It could be for other things, but what I'm saying is is, make sure you have the tools in place that you need and capture the information that you needed to time. What if you had a big dollar idea and you didn't run it down? No. And you never know because you never took that step. And on top of that, you forgot because you didn't write it down. Simple things sometimes are very important. You know, when I meet, you know, one of the other podcast. Patrick, you was here with me. I mentioned going back to the basics. You know, making sure that you get your basics bride. You know, in your day you're getting up. You're doing what you need to do. What are the things you need to do in your life to make your life better to make your days better, you know, to go back to the basics and get things straight. You know, I really feel like one of the most important things, Patrick, for people that may be listening to a podcast is to make sure that you can make your day, Greg. And a lot of times that's that mindset thing that we talked about giving up and saying, Look, hey, how can I make it each day? Great. Because if you allow your feelings to tell you what you're gonna do in the day, and you made this be this pointed more often than not. But if you wake up and you find those success principles, the habits, the things that take you to that next level to make your day good from good to great, you know, and you start applying that pattern, you started applying that formula to your life. I'm telling you what you can re create great days. Sometimes it's just mind set, guys. I mean, I have for the last little bit and I talked Patrick about this. This is something we talk about personally. And I told him I said, I have had more success in the last month and I've had in a long time. Well, it has to do with a lot of what I'm. I'm telling you, it has a lot to do with writing it down, getting at it and making sure and asking yourself, How can I make this a better day today and hold yourself accountable every day when you wake up, you say, Look, I don't feel like getting out of bed, you say, because I mean, let's just be honest. You have those days we have these days and I think for as a majority Ah, if we could, You know, most people have those days. So what do you do in those cases? And we went over it one over it. And I don't want to continually go over it to you guys. Get tired of it. But I hope you're actually applying it when you start thinking about the things that you can get excited about in the day that you're in and you start painting the picture of how your day is gonna be great and in a Jeff's picture, it's not Patrick's paint a picture. It's what influences and what inspires you to get out of that bad. And I'm not telling you, just jump out of the bed. I'm not telling you. Say I feel good. I feel good. I feel good. I feel good. I'm telling you to start if you want to start telling yourself the raisins that you're going to get inspired today. So I know I've got over my soapbox again. You know, I'm very passionate about this factory. No, I mean, I totally agree with everything he said, because I mean, really, we live in a day and age where there's so much potential and opportunity out there. We should be doing what makes us happy and what what gives. What makes us feel good? Because when I'm doing something that makes me happy, you feel good, fulfills my purpose. I'm then able to give to other people. It's like it's kind of like a simple way to look at is like money. If I'm prosperity prospering and I'm making a lot of money, I'm then able to give back to other people. And one thing you have to think about is success in an area. All it does is exemplify what's already there, you know, in the in the root of you. So a guy who's a jerk right now, if you give him a lot of money, he's gonna be a rich jerk, a guy who's a great guy right now, you get a lot of money. He's gonna be a really awesome guy, so really just just taking the route of you and giving yourself a lot of success. Who would you become if you if you had a really strong workout habit, would you become really like a really strong guy who's very no active and and willing to teach other people how to be active and willing to, you know, help other people. I see guys do mill plans for people that I mean, it's just where what would you do with the mint success in an area of your life and you to think about that and and just living life excited? That's I mean it. Really? Cause what, When you want to be, when you when you're doing something you really love, you don't want to stop. I mean, we recorded for hours. We talked on the phone for hours. Jeff and I and, you know, personally podcast. I mean, this is stuff we thoroughly enjoyed discussing, talking about and living. We don't just talk about it, we do it. We you have action steps that we take, and we actually live it. He like, he said he's been trying this new morning routine for the past month, and it's giving him amazing results. And, you know, I've even tried an implement in some parts of it, and it works for me like a charm like that. Five minutes to myself. I came from Jeff's idea. I said, because he's like, Give yourself some time So I started giving myself time in the morning. Let me tell you, may I never miss that five minutes. I don't care if I'm late. I'm not missing it. Five minutes. It's It's almost sacred to me. So really Just imagine if that was five hours in the morning or something like that, just exemplifying that time. What would you do with it? And the last point? Want to say, Just piggyback on what you said earlier about? Everybody has ideas? Um, I believe and I think Les Brown says, but talking about everyone has a $1,000,000 idea. Everybody has a $1,000,000 idea. You've got one inside of you, everybody like it's not rocket science. I mean, this guy's get have $1,000,000 ideas to make toilet paper. That that's a $1,000,000 idea. Uh uh. What you call it your sorry two picks toothpicks. That's a $1,000,000 idea right there. Everybody has a $1,000,000 idea. I don't care how and you see how simple that is. A toothpick, windshield wipers, toll of paper. I mean, it doesn't matter who you are. I believe everybody has a potential to bring out a $1,000,000 idea, and I'm not talking like necessarily like it's worth millions or whatever. I'm saying. The idea is a huge idea, and it has a lot of influence on people, and it helps a lot of people. That's a $1,000,000 idea. To me, it's not the $1,000,000 it's the idea. So, yeah, I mean, just live life excited, kind of let Jeffs talking about what were your thoughts? I think if you're excited, you're gonna get a lot more things accomplished, and I think it's except before the mind said, It's very important. You know, I think I've heard it a lot. I know I've already before. I've heard it said before that you're physiology equals your psychology, which basically means from the limited amount. I understand about it. If you hold your body in a certain way, you're gonna feel certain figments. So if you hold your head of, you're gonna feel better than if your head was Now, you know, and if you push your shoulders back, you're gonna feel better because they're back. You know, there's certain things that when I say physiology when you're holding your stuff a certain way, you're doing right actions, you know it makes a difference in your life. So if you start finding out what works for you in your life, and I think that, you know, there may be some similarities between people, how they're different, you know, and they're also have very similar. You know, the people that are successful, they have success principles. You know, I think there there we could get on to that topic in regards Thio, whether somebody was inherited their wealth or was compared to their success. It's more than just wealth, but ah, when I'm getting mad is is I think you will see that there's certain things that successful people that maintained and continually grow where they're at their certain patterns that they have, you know, understand certain things that they repeat, you know, And so it's important to realize that there's certain things that you can do continually to make your day better. And that's why I keep going back to this, that I keep reiterating this because I want you guys to get it, master your daily life, figure out the basics of what makes your life great and how you can get more energy, become better. And at the end of your day, when you said, Hey, what can I do to make my day better? How can I be better? I even asked my friends, I don't know if I'm an ex Patrick yet, but there's there's one.
