Niching down is extremely important when you are smaller. A small business will want to focus on a specific product or service and master it. That 1, 2 combos will get you into the big leagues, where you can learn some new tricks. Look at Amazon. It started out as an online bookstore and now it has everything.

I used to jump from idea to idea like a squirrel but then I realized that ideas are easy to create but extremely difficult to bring to fruition. You must FOCUS. = follow one course.

Our Direction – We have some really exciting new guests coming up. Day 80 out of 90 of the podcasts every single day challenge. Stick around for episode 90. We will be making some changes. Some big, some small.

FOCUS. Select one niche, such as books online, or perhaps daybeds, something that is niche and that you can master. Then big brands will either buy you out or you can scale. Furniture was one thing I did well.

ACTION STEPS – What is your business FOCUS? If you are small, are you monogamous? If you are large, are you polygamous?

Are you ready to be entre vied? Let's break free of the life we're told to live, create freedom and well, by adding value to others live, challenge traditions, challenge authority and get entre fied. Hey, guys, welcome to the show today. Are you ready to get entre fired? We have a great show lined up for you. It's gonna be talking about scratching that niche. It's pretty, Nicci. All right, enough with the puns. So what is on terrified about this? I like to do every 10 episodes. Kind of like what we're about, what we're doing, where we're going. Just keep people in line, let them know. Hey, this is where the straight shots going. And this is why you listen to the show. This is Episode 80 out of 90 in my 90 day challenge to publish an episode every single day with amazing content, I think I'm really smashing that out of the park. Gained a lot of traction. Getting a lot of feedback about emails onto five is here to impact the world by removing the traditional limitations that have been placed on society in the work environment. All right, look, it's 2020 man the Industrial Revolution was 70 years ago where we don't need We don't need these factory hours. He's nine to fives. They're inefficient, the crappy, They're terrible. I'm gonna be doing a very in depth report, probably even a white paper on how terrible the 9 to 5 situation is today in America, you know, we shouldn't have to work a CZ many hours as we do. The comedian is ridiculous. And who says 40 hours a week is what we should be doing? I mean, who came up with these numbers? So I think it's important that we challenges because there's a thing called the Internet in remote work. Why are we driving five out of the seven days a week like herds in cattle to a destination? Why are we like herding cattle to a destination five days out of seven? And I know I'm kind of digging in the weeds here and getting off on a ramp, but I I absolutely hate the way things are done, and I'm changing it. I'm going to change because, look, companies like Microsoft, Google, they've already interplay menting, implementing different work strategies, and they're crushing it. Aim is on Apple the biggest trillion dollar companies they're doing. They're not doing this basic 40 hour workweek Do remote work they're doing, you know, nice work environments mean people. People come from all over the country, toe work at these places because they're offering, you know, realistic, um, inhumane work environments. It's not. I'm gonna go set a cubicle for 40 hours a week and gained £300 because I can't leave. And I have to just sit here like I'm, you know, locked into this chair, and it's super unhealthy. There's no gym time like it's crazy that you're in office for eight hours a day and there's no incentive to work out. And to be healthy they don't care about that is just crazy, man, and it makes me sick. So I know I'm kind of really getting on a rant, but I really hate the 40 hour work week. It's very inefficient and not very good. Look at Microsoft. Look at Google. Look at what they're doing with their work weeks. I'm pretty sure they're doing four hour week work weeks a lot less hours. So Microsoft in Japan, they actually said sales had been boosted. Nearly 40% during an experiment in which staff worked a four day week on full pay. So I mean, this is I mean is obvious. It's obvious you don't need. You don't need all these hours to accomplish something. How many hours of people waste sitting around the cooler talking about football like, Oh, well, our team was this good. Our team is that good. And ah, in all that, you know how many people waste time talking, going to the bathroom, calling people on the phone, taking breaks because you're there for two days long, Man, you have after you wake up, you have from six o'clock 10 o'clock at night. That's 89 10 10 11 12 1122334456676 No. 19 but 16 hours. All right, so you got Ah, let's see. Two hours commute because traffic. So that's 14. Then you got eight hours or nine hours, you said in the office. So you down the five hours. So you got five hours at home and you got 11 hours working, and you're only getting paid for eight of those 11. How inefficient is that? It's ridiculous. and you can accomplish a lot of this stuff at home, you know? So I think something that would be super productive is splitting it up. You know, work from 8 to 12 at home remotely drive into the office at one o'clock. Wow, you just killed a lot of congestion problems that we have a national Patrick. Congratulations. Here's a key to the city that simple. It's really that simple, like there's no way to overcomplicate it. Unless your position is something that needs to be in the office like a receptionist. There's no reason for you to be there, all right. No reason, No reason. Just so somebody can stand over your breathe down your neck. It's disgusting. Disgusting. So anyway, back to my main topic of niche ing down because what I just did was niche. Now I just gave you a perfect example. My niche is getting rid of this stupid 40 hour work week, empowering you to make choices and live the way you want to. How many of you guys have missed family family trips, family vacations, family meet ups? How many of you haven't seen your family in years because of work? It's it shouldn't be this way. It shouldn't be this way. Sewn itching now is extremely important. When you're smaller, a small business will want to focus on a specific product or service and master it. They want to crush it. Amazon. That 12 combo will give you will get you into the big leagues, where you can learn some new tricks. You can expand. Look at Amazon. It started out as an online bookstore in the nineties, in the late nineties, and now it sells. It sells everything you could buy. Baby diapers, baby wipes. You can buy bookshelves. You can buy Legos by anything your heart desires. But they started as a bookstore. They scratch that niche. Nobody was. You know, nobody had online bookstore. They scratched that niche that gave him enough money to go on, acquire other departments and grow their business. They become now what it is. A market place. That was really It's a monopoly. They own everything in the world. I mean, they have stuff from, you know, a A. W s Cloud service is what is a company that sells goods have to do with cloud service means kind of like you know it's crazy how massive they've grown. And, uh, anyone only off on that topic. I used to jump from idea to idea like a squirrel, but then I realized that ideas are easy to create, but they're actually, um, extremely difficult to bring to fruition. It's really easy to sit here on my chair and be like, you know, I have this great idea for this, you know, new never before thought of space suit for astronauts. But you if you never take the first step to actually designing it, making it you're never gonna really nothing's ever gonna come from it like people don't get ideas. Air easy there. Diamond doesn't mean they're cheap. They're easy. I had this one guy one time. He told me he was like, Hey, man, I got his business ideas. But nobody's ever thought of it ever before, ever. And I want to use it. But I'm scared to tell you. Can you sign in India? And then the next day he pretended like we never talked about it all. And then I saw him a couple of weeks ago. He he never did anything with it. People were so paranoid and crazy like you couldn't tell me about your idea. I'm not going to steal it. There's no idea I'm gonna steal because there's a lot of words that goes into an idea. You have to put a lot of work into it. Like if you told me you had the idea for Tesla, I'm gonna be like, Okay. Go get it, man. Because I I don't know the first thing about building a car that runs straight upon batteries. That's something that takes a true vision and true grit to get to. So don't Don't be afraid to share your ideas. That's so stupid. You must focus. Follow one course into your successful. You don't monogamy before pa Log of me if I said that, right? Basically, you have one thing, one pursuit until you get really good at it, then you can have multiple. You know, once once I master Microsoft, I can start the Bill Gates Foundation. I can start my own cloud service company once I have. Once I have a massive, very, very good profit puppy, something that's making me bank. Then I can kind of venture off, throw a little money in this area in this area. Keep that in mind. So focused. Follow one course and being be consistent, Stay with that one thinking this isn't a persistent towards that one thing that gets you into the big leagues. And once you're in the big leagues, once you got a $1,000,000 in the bank, man, because of your business and cash flow is healthy. You making 10 grand a month, that's then you can go buy some crazy business. That's like, I don't know, trying to make, um, purses out of rubber tires. That's actually real business. So once you get good at one thing, you could mentor offing me. Draw. We have some really exciting new guests coming up on our show. I've been in the works, talking to, you know, ex NFL players, two doctors that have been a shark tank on ABC. You know, I mean, that works email on these guys, getting him on the show for you guys. You know, it's Day 80 out of 90 of the podcast, every single day challenge I challenge myself to back in December. Stick around for Episode 90. There's gonna be some changes, some big, some small may even give away some prizes, so stick around for that. Um, in the main point today I want to make is the focus. Follow one course until you're successful. Select one. Nish touches books on lines. Or perhaps daybeds something like I did. Like I said, I had a furniture business that was specifically just day bats. You know, nothing else but daybeds and some pillows. That's it. It's just a day bed pillow. Very specific. Very long Tell keywords. I had a lot of success out of it. Something that is niche. And then you can master will give you success then big brands like Wayfair. They'll want to buy you out. You know, I've seen it happen. I've definitely been there or you can scale furniture was one thing I did Well, I stuck with it. I scaled it. Why? Didn't scale it? I just stuck with a day beds and I sold out in daybeds stage. I didn't want to keep going because it didn't really like it. So what is your business focus? What are you focusing on? If you're small, are you Are you saying you know with that one thing? I do, I do. I like to keep it simple. You know, I'll keep my things simple. I like to keep everything streamlined. Easy, Thio. Easy to do, you know, podcast easy getting on a calendar, talking to people. Easy, setting up interviews. Easy. That's it. May. I am not trying to post on social media trying, right? Blog's. Nobody cares about what I had to say. Nobody cares about that kind of stuff. I don't care. I don't care to write that either. I don't care to pay for it. It's stupid in if you're a medium business. I mean, you can kind of venture out, get some new things going. If you're a large business, obviously you're gonna want to spread your risk. You want to diversify, But if you're a small business specifically you guys, I'm gonna talk to you. You need to pick something specific, hit the long tell keywords and be very, very good at what you're doing and be very specific. So hey, thanks for listen.
