Every time I speak, do interviews or put my neck out there, I get scared. It’s so scary to get up and speak in front of people. Volume, your body language, and tone are just small parts of all the functions happening while you’re speaking. Even when podcasting, it’s scary.

I have been doing a 90 day, record an episode everyday challenge with Jeff and we are on day 64, holy cow. I still get nervous before interviews, calls, and episodes. I put so much work into this and I am afraid I’m not trying hard enough.

You have to be vulnerable and real. Pretending like you have no fear or the fact that you have no weaknesses is a weakness.

Your success is created by adding value to other people’s lives and situations by taking action, challenging possibilities, and making logical choices towards your goals and dreams.

We’re here to help you create that success.

That'll be Thursday at five o'clock Central time. He's gonna be on the show, so Hey, guys, Look, I'm scared to speak. I'm scared to speak. I'm scared to talk. What are you afraid of? I mean, so today we're gonna be talking about things you're scared of and how to overcome them. That's what you're going to get out of this episode to stick around, you know, because here's what Aunt Ified does. We help you to get to that next step in your business, your life. Whether your brand new of veteran we're here, we're here for you because it really all a bulls down to is how you think leads to how you act. You know what's in your heart is what you'll do. So it is very important that you have a strong foundation, because that is, that's where everything starts from. And that's where everything trajectory, you know, upwards. You have to have a strong foundation to tradition upward. So every time I speak, you know, I do interviews or putting my neck out there, I get scared. It's so scared to be vulnerable, so scared to be open. To be a human is scary and to go towards something that you're afraid of. I mean, that's terrifying, is it not? You know, what is something that you're scared of? That you want to do that? You need to do that. You feel like you really got to do it, but you're scared of it. And generally you're scared because you care. Somebody told me that one time I was like, Wow, you know, that's true. I am scared because I care. I put a lot of work in tow into my speaking into what I'm doing until what I'm saying and and, ah, this podcast and all that. And it's just scary to be vulnerable to put yourself out there because there's some really negative Nancy people who want to see you fail. They want to see you eat the dirt, and there's just people out there like that. There's also supported people out there. You just have to realize that there's far more supportive people than are negative Nancy's. So that's I mean, you shouldn't think of it that way. So, you know, it's so scared to get up and speak in front of people. Did you know public speaking is like one of the top? I think three fears. I think it's number one. The number one biggest fear of people today is public speaking, giving in front of people and talking, and and that's completely understandable. Like I say, you know, I'm afraid to talk in front of people. I'm scared to do it, but I do it all the time. I'm scared. The podcast. I'm scared to talk into a microphone, but I do it all the time, and it's because it's because I do it that it makes me. You know, I feel good when I'm doing it. I feel great when I'm doing it. But the anticipation leading towards it, I'm scared. I'm like, man, What if I see some stupid or or what? If I know. What if I don't have? Ah, good message. What if I mess up? What? Um, I sound quality sucks. I mean, there's so many things that you could sit here and be like Man, what if this happens? This happens and you don't do it and you tell you, you know, it doesn't. There's a lot of people that listen to you your show, whatever you're doing, that you could be helping by overcoming your fear. And you know, this show is played in 20 plus countries. And if if I wasn't able to overcome my fear of getting up talking in the microphone Oh, yeah, that's a funny story. About every time my podcast I stayed up. It's kind of hilarious, but I'm like, What kind of speaker sets in their chair and talks me. It's kind of like, No, you gotta get up, Got to get up, get, get excited, get up, get excited. But yeah, So if I didn't do that, I would be all these people that I speak to you that I reach out to all these subscribers, the fans, viewers. Everybody that listens to this show would not be getting what they've gotten from it. And if you've gotten something from the show, I'm really, you know, greatly appreciative because I put a lot of work into this and put a lot of time into this show. And, you know, it's so scared to be vulnerable, so scared to be vulnerable. Um, and when you're speaking, there's so many things you have to take into account for. So let's say you're speaking in front of a crowd. Well, you have the taking count for what you're saying, your body language and your tone, and there's just a couple up couple of parts of all the functions happening at once. You have to be so cognizant of all these moving wheels, all these things that air transpiring around you, and you're like, Whoa, what's going on with going up. And not only that, but keeping and maintaining confidence all the while the same. So next time you see somebody speaking in public in front of people, just be thinking of that, like, Wow, that you had some really a lot of confidence to be able to do that And it's a lot of it takes a lot of work and it's scary. It's so scary. So you know, even when podcasting, it's scared talking into a microphone. Scary. There's interview coming up like I told you guys Thursday, I'm scared to record the interview. It's It's hilarious. So I thought today would be vulnerable. T guys, it's raining outside, you know, it's raining. It's really pouring down out there. And a lot of people are, like, all mean, it's raining. That kind of ruined my day. No, I love a good rain, you know, just sitting in the office, I got a window right by my desk. I just look out of the rain and look at it. The trees I live off in the country outskirts in Nashville and look at the trees. Watch the birds watch the cars drive on by kind of living a hilly area, Um, in Northwest. That's a west of Nashville and kind of watching nature life go on and just enjoying the day. A lot of people hate the rainy days. I think it's a great time to sit in here and podcasts and put my neck out their toe to be vulnerable to you guys. And I mean, like I said, it's scary relationships, careers, getting that pay raise, starting your business, you know, taking a business loan. All these things are scary. They're so scary. But what? You know what the question is? What? What What are you afraid of? Because generally what you're afraid of is what you need to be doing. If you're afraid of your debt, you should probably be paying more attention and paying it off. I know at one point in my life, I was afraid to open my bank account because I was like, Man, don't even have any money. I was scared. I was more scared of opening a bank account than probably a bear. It won't pull in my life. I mean, cause I would literally be like, Okay, so far I am so afraid and it would take me hours to come up and face the fear of typing in a password. And that's just you have to think how funny that is, how often times we're afraid of things because there's generally a truth behind them and the truth does hurt. I mean, it really does hurt. And so whenever we do face our fears like speaking, for example, and we get the message out there, it's it's really scary. It's really scared to get to put a message out there to talk, to be someone that just says, Hey, guys, here's what I think And then people are gonna be like, Man, you're stupid. You don't You're gonna be like, sitting here and you're gonna be like, Wow, are you kidding me? But then you're gonna get those people that are positive they're gonna be like, Wow, I really was touched by your message. I was really touched by what you just did what you said, what you're doing for me and those are the people that matter. Those are the people in the matter of the people that if you're getting positive feedback, people saying, Wow, thank you so much for what you do, then that's really what makes what makes this worth it. It's what makes facing your fear worth it. Paying off that debt, not having to worry about anymore, making it toe where you're you're stable, your business is going good. So when you wake up on that, when you go to bed Sunday night, your stomach isn't it Not because, you know, Monday morning, you gotta wake up and go right back to your desk at work. You know, that's these are things you have to face. You have to go towards what you're afraid of. Yeah, I heard that there was a storm coming. It's a quick story. There was a storm coming and the cows when the cows he is storm coming, though, run with with it they'll start running away from the storm, where the storm is faster than the cows. So the storm will eventually catch up with the cows, and it will be starting on the cows and they'll be running with the storm the whole time. So not only there's a storm last, you know, an hour, but they get to you to enjoy the entire hour of the storm because they're running with it. Well, I believe maybe butchering this, but I believe it is moose that run against the storm. So when it comes a huge storm that last one hour, they start running in the direction of the storm. And then they'd only last maybe 10 minutes for those guys because they run right through it. They go right into what they're afraid of. Everybody else is afraid of. They go right into the adversity of storm and they take it head on. Now, you may not be strong enough to do that, and that's okay. That's okay. It's all about recognizing that there is. You're afraid of something for a reason. It's not because clowns are scary. I mean, they totally are. But generally, really, fears are rooted in truth or some kind of something you need to do opening, you know, making a podcast. Arabs are a YouTube channel and showing videos of things that you find are important. You may be afraid to take the camera to record yourself. Were you thinking you look stupid? But then you may become the next massive hit that helps millions of people. There's one lady, Lindy Sterling. She plays the violin and, like combined it with dub step kind of music. E. M. And I remember watching her first video. It was awesome. It was really awesome. And she put her neck out there, and it did. In the video, she said, Hey, guys, I hope you like this new experiment I tried. She could minded violin with electronic music. It was so weird. But at the same time it was it was amazing and I love her music. She's phenomenal artists, but my point is, if she would've never stuck her neck out there and just said, Hey, Gus, do you like this? She would have never known that she would never You know, as many people that love her music. I love music. I mean, it helps me get through my mornings. Some mornings. I'm having a great morning. I'm going to the gym. I listen to her music and my man, it's such beautiful. Beilin keeps my day going, but, you know, I have been doing a 90 day recording up so everyday challenge with Jeff and we're on Day 64. This is the 64th episode we have recorded in the past 90 days. Every single day and it's been a ride. I mean, holy cow, it's been ride. I still get nervous before interviews, calls episodes. I'm still getting nervous because I put so much work into this, and I'm afraid I'm not trying hard enough. I'm not giving enough effort that people won't recognize and be like, Wow, thank you for doing what you do. Thank you for every single date, sacrificing your time to make sure we get this content. And that's something that is scary to me because, you know, put a lot of work into it, heart and soul. But clearly I have to keep doing that and giving before anything else you know, we worked jobs for money will always think about is that paycheck? You know, we think about getting getting getting and hardly ever think about giving, giving, giving, and there's a scary place to be, but it's really where we are. It's really where a lot of people are that that work, that that have businesses, you know, the more concerned with yourself than anybody else. And you can't be that way because, um, man, I forget there was this perfect saying I had in mind you ever You ever hate when you like, have something in mind? You just forget about it. Isn't that just the worst feeling in the world? I mean, yeah, totally, totally is. But I read somewhere where it was like poor, poor people or people who don't have a name. Abundance are oftentimes more greedy than people who do have in abundance. I'm not knocking on anybody not calling me poor. I'm just saying, if money's tight, oftentimes people that air tight with money that Aaron, you know, I get people are in dire situations, but they're often times, um, or greedy then the people who have excess money. And you could argue and say it was because I got bills and stuff and that's true. But you had to do something to lead you to that route. I know I'm totally getting off topic today, but you have to be vulnerable and riel, pretending like you have no fear of the fact that you have no weaknesses is a true weakness. It's really a weakness to be like, you know what? I am the greatest guy ever. I worked 100 hours a week nonstop. Don't even breathe. I have a perfect morning routine. I do every day. I never had a bad day in my life. I never have any bad news. Everything I hear is positive. Positive? Positive. All do is make money all day. I'm these These what people portray on their Facebooks instagrams all that other crap. They betray this facade that they are someone that never has a bad day. They really do. And I'm not gonna lie. Do it to do it too. But one day I had a flat tire went onto Ah Instagram Facebook. I posted flat tire. I said, Hey, look, guys, I'm stuck on the side of road. This sucks and ah, yeah, It was just me being raw, being real, saying they had a flat tire. This is real life. Bad things happen, But don't let it get you down because guess what? I had a spare and a jack I changed out took me 10 minutes. I was good to go because I was prepared. But the point is, we aren't perfect. We're having good days ever. They weren't. We aren't having the greatest everywhere aren't working 100 hours a week. We're having days that we don't want to work or they were sick of that. We're tired, and that's okay. It's okay to be vulnerable. It's okay to be to show signs of I'm tired. I'm exhausted because don't over exaggerate. Don't make it look like you have no weakness. That really makes you look weak. So my actions have for you this episode toe for you to think about is what is something you really want to do. But you're scared off. What is one thing you really want to do, But you're scared of it.
