Hey, guys, this is Jeff on today's podcast. I'm gonna be talking about making sure you're getting the things done. You need to in the day that you're in. You know, a lot of times will make it to do lives, which is great. But make sure that you're not leaving out certain things. You know, in your day that you need to be doing that. You tell yourself, Hey, I'm going to do this today and it don't get done. You know, so one of those things in your life that you need to be doing that you're not getting done. It's one thing to get your task done. You think all that's enough? You know, one of the things that comes to mind is to continue to education in your field. You know, if you're a professional, you continually have to upgrade your skills. You know, sometimes that means daily you know where you're getting a little bit of peace information every day that you didn't know where you're getting updated. You find a way to plug in and get more information that's super important today. Spy environment cause things move super fast, so make sure you're getting plugged in to get Maur information daily. That's one of the things I want to talk to you about. Are you making time for that? You know, you may say, Well, I don't have time. You know, sometimes it is alive to tell yourself that you don't have time. Sometimes it means, Hey, I got other things, But make sure you're making time for those things that you need to do. So you spend time doing the things that you need to do. Guys, it's very important. And if you're not already doing that, you're probably fallen behind. So make sure you do that in your day. So what are those things? Clearly, write down what you need to know, because if you don't need to know what you need to know, it's gonna be hard for you to do it. So schedule it planet. What is those things that you need to be doing and set a time aside to do those specific things Now, here's the next question. How much time do you need to put it? Depends on what you're trying to do. Your main focus could be Okay, I'm gonna take one thing that I need to do. It could be that you got a lot of things, but let's focus on 11 thing that you need to do, the main thing you need to do, and I'm going to dedicate amount of time to it. You have to be honest with yourself. How much time do I need in this specific area To make sure that I'm doing this thing Due diligence is forced time that I am allotting for it. So if you're just allotting, okay, I'm gonna give myself two minutes on something. No, I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about when you say okay, I need to make sure that I'm updating my skills. I'm gonna take some coursework. I'm gonna do some research. You know, I'm gonna get involved. That maybe 30 minutes, you know, 30 minutes is pretty good standard. If you could do something for 30 minutes consistently day in and day out. Hey, it won't be long before you're learning a lot of information, especially if it's knowledge that you never heard of before on a particular subject matter that you're supposed to be a professional at. So make sure that you're spending time, 30 minutes arm or would be a good probably time to do most. Everybody can arrange 30 minutes. I mean, I know we're all busy, but really, are you too busy to do the things that you need to do? Doesn't mean you can just move something aside to make sure it happens. And I'd like to encourage you to think this way, too. Sometimes it means making sure you do that thing that you need to do first thing so it gets treated with priority first response type of thing where you're not forgetting about it or, you know it's something I need to do. But I'm not going to do. Find out the first time that you have available the first time slot that you have available and put it in that time slide, so you make it a priority. You know, guys, I've said it before, but schedule your success. You know, if you have, if you need to get things done, put it down a certain time making a priority. Put it first thing you know, it's what I'm telling you today, that thing that you need to get done. But make sure you plan and you plot your route to the top. You know, it could be, You know, that you're in a field and you want to grow in that field. You want to be a leader in that field, or it could be a lot of different things. Sit down, figure out the overview. What? You won't get detailed about it. But then it's gonna come down to making no small steps those small defined problems. So you take a big problem, and I'm calling it a problem. But it could be just something you need to do. It's something that needs to get done. Make it simple. Break it down into these bite sized chunks that you can get done you can take care of, you know? So look at it from that standpoint, what do I need to do every day? How could I break this down, make it simple and put it on a schedule on a routine. So I'm getting things done. It's really convey that simple. You know, sometimes if you have to constantly think about something, it's gonna be really hard for you to continue doing it. So put it down. What you're gonna do in a day could be like three or four things. This is what I'm doing today and you practice consistency in that matter. Every day you do those things and you know, after a while you keep doing the same good things over and over and over. Sometimes you'll get great results. I think if you apply these to your life and you keep putting that underlayment where you have it everything wrote down to find detailed out a set time to do things that you need to do study up on your craft so you know what's going on.
