Are you ready to be entre Vied? Let's break free of the life we're told to live, create freedom and well, by adding value to others live, challenge traditions, challenge authority and get onto ified. Hey, guys, this is Jeff on today's podcast. I'll be talking about maximizing your time, you know, maximizing the time you're in. That's what we're gonna be talking about today. You may be at work or at home, but either way are you maximizing that time. You know, there is a saying that says if you do what you need to do in this moment, the next moment may take care of itself. You're not going to get this time back. That's important for you to realize, because if you think that you're just gonna be ableto Oh, well, it's OK for me just to take a break. And that break don't never seem to end. Then you're going to waste a lot of time, and the truth is, is you're not gonna feel good about that. A lot of people think that, you know, if you just lay around, you're gonna rest. You're gonna feel good most the time. I think if you're not being productive. Eventually, you get to the point where you just you feel like that. You know you're not doing what you need to do, and there's just something that's missing. It may be that you're not doing what you need to do right now. Now there's obviously there's other conditions and things like that. But if you're not being productive, I thinking you get to the point where you where you become depressed, you know. So if you'll focus on trying to do the best thing in the moment that you're in, it might actually a pure health. I'm no doctor, and I'm not giving you advice here, but if you'll be productive a lot of times, it may make your it might make you think better. Um, consult the doctor with that because I'm not a doctor and I don't know about that. But I can tell you that I feel better when I'm being more productive. And you may say, What's the meaning of wasting a lot you know are maximizing your time? Meaning is, Are you wasting a lot of your time? As I said before, If you're if you're working, how can you make the best use of your time, you know, rather than just just going through the motions kind of set it up were you know, how you How can I do this better? That's an action action step for you. It's also a question What would be the best use of my time in this area, and then you can ride it down. But in the end, you got to remember it and be able to apply it. So again, that question is what would be the best use of my time in this area. And so that's one of the action steps that I wanted to give you today, An example of how you may not be maximizing your time is if you don't plan things out. You know, if you just kind of go with things, what kind of fly by the seat of your pants type of attitude, where you don't You don't really know where you go when there's really no, um, really no job briefing or anything. And it's just something you just do, you know, you just like, Well, I'll just I'll see what happens. You know, if you do that, there's gonna be a lot of things possibly that you miss. If you don't plan out your day that that might be a waste of your time guys. So just keep that in mind. Maybe start with the lowliest you have. You don't have to be, you know, elaborate. Just something that you start with the main goal, you know? So if you could do that, if you can have, like, a list of things with the main goal for the day, that should help you help you get started. That may help you maximize your time. But defining maximizing your time is really hard to do in different situations. I think it means and a lot of things being efficient and productive. But in my mind, it means producing a quality outcome. You know, a lot of times I think, you know, if you're not careful, the mentality is is just produced a lot of quantity of something, you know, make sure that you're getting a lot of quantity, but it's time go zone. Not only do you have to have a lot of quantity and a lot of fields, let's say, for instance, you're working in a factory, you know, you gotta get a lot of quantity out, but ultimately it's gonna come down to your quality because people value quality too. And, you know, of course, you know, they value both their value being productive and efficient, but they also value producing a quality outcome. So I try to focus on the quality outcome. But make sure that your that you make a plan. Did you get it started? You're maximizing your time, but it means being a fishing with your time because I want to move on another example of this how you can maximize your time, maybe riding down the details of the things you will need to do again. You know, it could be something. Thats routine in other words, something that happens all the time. If you write that down the steps, you have to do in order to do this thing again that you're trying to do again. If you have all that wrote down, you don't have to relearn it every time you do it. So it's kind of a waste of time, actually, is a waste of time for you to have to relearn something over and over and over and over. If you wrote it down once you would be done with it. So another example that you could, uh, another example is be sure you write down something when it's on your mind. You know, if you're not writing down things that's on your mind, you know, more than likely you're gonna be able to. You're going to forget things over time. It's just part of life. We can't remember everything that some people might be able to remember a lot or almost everything. But you know, that's the reason we have pencil and paper is to write things down. You may use your phone. There may be other ways that you record it, but make sure that you're riding the things down. So, guys, let's recap for a minute. Maximizing your time Time. Excuse me may start when you asking in the area. What is the best use of my time? So what's the best use of your time in this area? It might mean writing things down, making sure you're being efficient and productive while you're also producing a quality outcome, you know? So you're not you're not just rushing through things. It may mean riding down detailed notes where you can remember your train of thought. Or you can come back to your notes and think and not have and have your mindset of what she was meaning when you put down those notes. Guys, I hope you've got something from this today. But this is really what I wanted to share with you. And I will see you next time.
