Live, challenge traditions, challenge authority and get onto ified. Hey, guys, this is Jeff. I'll be talking about having a planning time today. You know, guys is so important that we have time just to think about things you can get, where you're just doing doing doing. You don't have a set time to reflect and think about some major things coming up. It might be just things that are just a little bit bigger than normal. I mean, it could be just something like, I need to make sure that I put together a grocery list, you know, and then make your list, but also wanting, incorporate healthy eating. And so you may have toe make a list of some of those things. But it involves some research like, for instance, going online and trying to figure out things you know that's good for you. So it's It's more than just a little simple task of making a list. I hope that makes sense. It's kind of a little bit confusing, but it could be planning something, you know, it could be a major things like, for instance, adding on to your house, You know, I mean, that's a major project, a remodel, You know, those kind of things. So when you have planning time, if you have a set time set down every day where you can go over those things, it's gonna help you. Because if you just rush into it and just think, Well, you know, I just figure this out on the fly just just don't work well, so we all have things to do and figure out it's just part of life. For instance, if you have big something big coming into your life into your personal life or it could be something in your business like a massive upgrade, let's say, for instance, you own a factory and you're doing an infrastructure you're adding on. You know, it could be something like that. Or you may be hiring people for the workforce, maybe something along those lines. So or it could be something simple, like just taking a vacation, your agenda where you're gonna go some of the sites that you want to see the meaning behind planning Time is having a set time every day where you have something that you can sit down and concrete where you can think Maurin depth about things. It's not just a simple thought, okay? Or a simple action. I'm just gonna go when I'm gonna do these things on my list. It actually takes some time to think about. So example might be a business plan you need to develop for a new idea you have or another example. Maybe. Like I said, in addition to your home that you're adding on, you know, those things take some time. So having planning time means a time set aside and ideas to think on. But it also means detail ing out some of that where you can make a good decision. So it ain't just okay, I'm gonna remodel my house, you know? And that's what I'm gonna do. Now you have to put some effort into it. Think. Okay, what is set gonna entail? Is it gonna be something that's going to you know, how are we going to live in the process and do that? You know. So you have to think about what I was involved. What materials you're gonna get, But you got to get into the details of what you're planning. It may not be remodeling your house. I'm just using it as an example, guys. So but look at it from Okay, here's what I need to know. This is the big project I've got going on, but you need to get more into the details of it and to kind of detail, some of that out. So you have a general understanding of where you're going. There's gonna be things more than likely you're not going to see coming. You know it just if you've ever built a house, which I'll talk to you a minute about that guy's. If you've ever done that, if it's your first house, more than likely you're gonna make a lot of mistakes. That first house, if you don't sit down and take some time. I don't know how many people has told me that over time, but it's something I've experienced myself. And I remember when I first met my house, it was one of those things that if I could just thought a little bit more about certain things that would have helped me out you know, and some of those things was things was going too fast, you know? And it was like, I got to get this done and you've got to get something else done. If you always have that mentality, it's going to get you in trouble in certain areas because 10 years down the road, when you look back, you think and you're still thinking about, If I'd have done this if I had done that, you don't want to get into that thought process of of dealing with those thoughts that keep coming up in your mind. I wish that I would have I thought a little bit further about this room because it's too small or you know something along those idea on those terms, I mean, so the action steps guys that I want to get to today is having a set time for planning. You know that you can do that every day, and then you have to have a list of ideas of things. You know, there's really no reason to have planning time if you're not gonna have things toe to think about in projects to consider. So if you don't have that, maybe It's just a short amount of time for you, But for some of us there's a lot of things going on, and then we need to think about and we tell ourselves that we're too busy. There's always too much of this stuff going on. Well, the truth, the matter is, if you don't deal with those things that you need to deal with, what is goingto happen when you have to deal with them and the answer more than likely is you're not gonna have as good a quality outcome because you're you will have not put the time in. So let's recap have a set time for planning. But focus on the things that you need to think about in this time. Make a list. It could be things coming up in the future like planning sessions, but But write it down where you have a list of things and always remember to detail some of this out where you have the process, the things that some of the things that's gonna happen and that's what I mean by planning time.
