The NFL. We're trying to be that coach, you know? So here's the point. Have direction in your life. You need to know where you're going. I tell so many people this what is your purpose? I asked him, What is your purpose? Ah, lot of people just just they just meander about. They just roll through life and and they don't ever realize that they have a purpose. They don't ever question what it is. A perfect example. My fiance just started going back to college because she wanted to challenge yourself, learn a new career or filled and become better. And I told her I said, You know, a few weeks before that she was. All she would do is watch TV sleep all day. She wouldn't really doing anything And you don't ever want to call somebody. I'll be like, Hey, you're lazy because it's nothing. Anybody's lazy. No, Punny is lazy. It's that she didn't have a direction. She didn't have a purpose. She was just kind of hanging out of the house. I mean, she's deaf, free, pays off. It paid off everything she's. She can do whatever she wants. So she just laid her out in the house all day. She didn't have a direction, their purpose, and I kept telling her I said, you don't have a purpose. You need a purpose. You need a purpose. I wasn't calling her lazy. I'm saying you need a purpose. So do you know somebody like that? Right now? They need the purpose. Do you know somebody? Is that you that needs a purpose in their life? She realized I need a purpose said Now she started going back to college. Um, about a week ago. Every day she is reading her book. She's studying she doing these courses online. She's taking this serious as a heart attack and she's doing amazing. She's passing everything. She's just crushing her tests or quizzes showing up to class every day. Excited, enthused. She has direction. She has a purpose in her life again. What are you doing right now That makes you excited and cruise the wake up passion about it? I'm passionate to be here recording this to be here talking to you guys. We're sharing this with you, hopefully helping you an impacting You have to be passionate about something. All right? You gotta have a purpose. You gotta have a direction. So here it entre fied. A few days ago, I got to share this with you guys because I'm really excited from in the National Guard. So I come in on the weekends. A few days back, I went to my unit. It's right at the road in Nashville, and I visit him, right? I was just hanging out and and And there was, Ah, General on the base, a four star general, the highest recon. Get the next thing. You know, I'm shaking hands with him. He gives me a coin, He coins me. A four star general coins me, and and he says, Hey, man, great job. You know, the commander of the base says, I want you to meet this guy, Patrick. He's one of the best we have on this whole base of 1000 plus people. This is the guy I want you to meet, and I got to shake his hand. I got a coin from a four star general, the highest rank you can get in the entire Air Force. And he called me. It's sitting on my desk right over there. Head over the Patrick use 9000. If you want to see a picture of it. Austin, your picture. I've got it. I got coined by four star general and that that doesn't happen without a direction without a purpose. I wanted to serve my community. I was showing up extra to serve my community, giving direction in my life. And so therefore, I'm able to achieve Maur because I'm passionate about my life and passion about going places. And I want you to be that way too. So you can also be given opportunities equivalent to what I received. And I'm not trying to brag and just telling you guys. I worked hard to get where I am today, and I will continue to work hard every day and wake up with that same enthusiasm, enthusiasm and excitement because I wouldn't have been the best on the base if it wasn't for my enthusiasm and excitement. If it wasn't for my my push, my grind, my direction in life, I wouldn't have made it there wouldn't. My values didn't align with what I was doing. I would have never had that opportunity. So you guys need to have that happen. And Oregon very lecturing today. But I can't reiterate enough how important it is to have some direction. Your business in life and without it you will fail. We're not interviewing anybody yet, but we're looking to find people that are high quality that are fired up that are looking to get there. And we're also looking for people that aren't fired up, that people that don't know where they're going to help them get there, too. It's getting easier, the processes faster, more proficient, and we feel better than ever. So 90 days is it may seem like a long time, but it's really just a blink of an other night, and it's over. So if you keep adding value to people's lives for 90 days and you keep feeling passion about it, you truly have found something you love and you should continue to do like Jeff and I. We love to talk about things and share our experiences to get people those next levels in that next step Number three, creating every episode with pushing you the listener to take action. That is the number one goal Jeff and I have when we make an episode is to give you an actionable step that it's simple, easy, and then you can do it anywhere. You don't need a pen and paper. You don't need any of that because most people are driving, working out whatever running. And you can't just stop a lot of pen and paper and write out the 20 except somebody gives you. You need 11 simple and easy one to keep it going. Keep it simple. Keep it going. That's what we're trying to get an accomplice for you guys here. All right, so the main point of today's episode, and of all these episodes I make everything episode is to have a clear direction. You need to have a clear direction in your life. So here's the action steps I'm gonna give you action steps is one, and I always loved the using this one its identity. Identifying it's the most important and powerful thing you can do. Identify your direction in life or business. Are you paying debt off or increasing profits or just starting a business? What is the next logical step? Indirection. You need to get you to the next level. So, for instance, if you're just now starting a business, let's say you're starting a uh, let's see. I don't know. Drop shipping business will say you're starting a drop shipping business. All right, you just came up with the idea. You I don't know. You got a website? What is your next logical step? That do due diligence and find a proper product. Excuse me to do due diligence and find a product that you can use to add value to people's life. You need to find that product that you can use that adds value to people's life, and it doesn't sink the piggy bank. You know, it's gotta be reasonable can just be giving stuff away free, because then you'll be broke and you're not helping anybody if you're broke. So the next logical step for someone who's in the drop shipping is finding a very value driven product. One example. I have a little machine that plug into my cigarette cigarette lighter, big airs up my tires, plugging tires and hears about your tires. Greatest investment I've ever made. Greatest investment. I love that guy. Sin Reviews wrote him e mails, cinema testimonies. I love it. Great product, Great product. I don't care about the price. It was a great product. So make something like that. Something that's a great product. Hands down, That is your next step and go take it. Go take it. If your next step is to start a podcast and you don't even have the equipment, then you obviously need didn't take that next step. You need to identify that. Hey, okay, this is what I gotta do. You need to go do it. It's so simple that it's silly because people overlook it. So if your next step is your starting podcast, you don't have the equipment that your next step take it all right. And my mom, for example, there's a quick wrap up story. And my mom, great lady, great lady. She was best lady ever. Best mom ever. And she she had us three kids and she lived her life through her kids because she didn't have a purpose outside of her kids and now all of our kids and moved out. She's looking for a new purpose, and she's like, Wow, you know, I really didn't focus on this this and this when I was younger and she regrets it. So don't don't you need to always review what your purpose is because you may not know what it is right now. You need to review your life would be like, wow. Okay. My purpose is taking care of my kids. But what's gonna happen when they leave? So you need to really? You need to rethink what your life is, how your life is structured and say, OK, I'm so concerned about my kids. What is that next logical step that can really help them besides just living and being there for them? Oh, that could be paying for their college. Oh, maybe I should go back to school myself, get a better education. That way I can help my kids even better. Or maybe I should go back and create a business. So that way I can help my kids even more. So that way you're identifying where you were headed. And now you're setting a new path that you're thinking of because a lot of times we will organically fall into something that becomes our purpose, are naturally fall into something, and he may not be the best option. You may fall into a cycle of washing Netflix movies all day binging those that maybe your purpose. That's not a good direction.
