Are you ready to be entre vied? Let's break free of the life we're told to live, create freedom and well, by adding value to others live, challenge traditions, challenge authority and get entre fied. Hey guys, welcome to the show. So happy to be here today, So happy to be talking to you guys May I couldn't tell you how much it means to me to be able to just be open and and valued in people's lives and help them get to those next steps and help you use less words to say more and that that, to me, is very powerful. Way to go about life. Saying less and doing Maur is really what we shall strive for. And, you know, it's really great honor to be here talking to be here and having you listen. And I believe in you if nobody ever tells you that I believe in you. So I just want to kick off the day's upset by telling you I believe in you and yeah, so actions speak louder than words. Therefore, you should spend more time taking action than talking. So look, I get it, guys, sometimes you want to do something. Let's say you want to be Ah, a city official. So you go around, you tell your whole family and your friends and your neighbors 2030 people. Hey, I want to be a city official. But then when it's time to put the rubber to the road, got there campaigning for it and be running to elections and all that, you don't show up, you don't show up and you don't bust your butt. And guess what you just said way more than you had to. You just wasted your breath and you major energy, use your energy to tell people what you were gonna do instead of doing what you wanted to do. So be careful of that guy's a lot of people, including myself, Patrick used. I like to say, I will do this. I'll do that. But often times when I say it Sorry, oftentimes, when they say it before they do it, they never do it. So when people say something before they do it, they never do it. I couldn't tell you. I have countless times, countless times May where I tell my friends, my family, I'm gonna boot. I'm gonna do that Yeah, I'm gonna do that. Yeah, Yeah, I get that. You don't worry about. I'm gonna do it. Well, I'll tell my fiance I'll be like, Hey, Yeah, Don't worry about that. I'm gonna put that snowman for you. There were. Don't worry about this. I'll take care of it later. Um, and and and often times almost 99% of the time, you never take care of it later. And then you go back and you revisit it. And you say, Oh, wow, I should do is and you do it and it gets done. There was no talking. You just didn't know it gets done. Yeah. Imagine every time you go to the bank and you tell people you're gonna withdraw money, do you go in there and you say, Hey, guys. Hey, everybody in the bank right now. Bank tellers. Where's the loan mortgage guy? Hey, everybody, I'm gonna tell you. Look, I'm about the withdraws money, alright? I'm withdrawing money. Everybody just letting everybody know. Hold on. Let me make some phone calls. Tell my friends and family let me make a post. Let me tweet this. All right? In the bank, guys about to withdraw some money. Um, you know, God bless. And you spend 20 minutes telling everybody and your friends you're gonna withdraw money. Imagine how silly that would be. And then you go to the counter, and and and and then you're like, Oh, you know what? I don't have my debit card, and then you have the gold home. You never would do your money. You made yourself look like an idiot and nothing was accomplished. You didn't do anything. And instead he wasted 20 minutes talking just to realize you didn't have your card. And now you gotta drive all the way back home, come all the way back and and and hopefully to God, you don't do it all over again. Hopefully, you have been 20 more minutes telling people you're gonna do it instead, the rial the real way people do this is they walk in the bank, they would draw their money and they leave. Takes all the two minutes. And if they don't have the car, they realize it immediately. Nobody, they don't. You know what's around telling people I like to use that radical example because that's how goofy we look when we tell people. Hey, man, I'm gonna I'm gonna be the president, all right? Have you ever done they? Have you ever given a speech before? I don't think I've ever seen you given a single public speech before. You know, it's just funny, because whenever we say we're gonna do this, isn't this we make yourself look like, like, bad? I mean, you make yourself look bad by doing that. Had I'm not gonna lie, guys, I'll do this sometimes, too. I'm accountable for I do it all the time too. I'll say I'm gonna do this or this. And then I go back. And I realized I'm like, Man, I really say that instead you should just shut up and do it. Just be quiet and do it all bark. And no bite or not successful approaches. You don't see Richard Branson, Sir? Richard Branson sitting here saying, Hey, guys, I'm gonna go to space. Or Ellen must say, Hey, I'm gonna create a battery powered car. No. Instead, you see a battery powered car out there on the road because he didn't sit around talking about it. He made it. He made it happen. And then he and then he uses it, so people use it. I mean, he just made it happen. There was no talk about it. There was no beating around the bush. He just did it. So, um, I catch myself often times I'll ramble off too much. I'll do too much. I'll keep going on a topic too much or I'll try to cram too much into something. And it makes my message less impactful, less direct. And it doesn't help people. When you ever you you give him too much private example. There was this guy that I saw on one of the military bases. Um, I'm in the Air Force part time, and I was a drill. Do the guard Air guard. I was a drill one time and there was a God. There's this guy there. How are my chain names? But he nobody wants to ever work with this guy. He's I t You don't ever want to get him to come fix your computer. Nobody wants him to come fix anything. And you know why? Because as soon as you call him into your office, you know, like, Hey, can you fix this like, yeah, he will tell you what the machine is or what what the problems were going on with computers. Right now, he'll tell you basically, when they got the computer, What what's going on with the computer, All the computer, everything about computers and the d. O. D. All that. He'll tell you every single bit of that info and you didn't ask for any of it. And all you want to do is coming to fix something, and then that's it. And so that way you could continue doing what you were doing. And I guess this guy just doesn't understand that. So he'll come in. He'll talk your head off for about 30 minutes to an hour minimum, even if it's something as simple as giving you a mouse pad or something, turning it and turn it into a 30 minute conversation of him telling you about what you know his thoughts. You don't even get a second to talk back. That's crazy. I'm not talking about about him. He's really, really smart guy, and I'm happy that he knows all this knowledge. I'm happy that he has all this information, but he's saying, but if he just walked in there, fixed what needed to be fixed, had a nice small conversation and made sure that you were content with what happened, as opposed to coming in, talking for 30 minutes, rambling on about things you don't care about. I mean, which which which you think is more impactful. The guy that comes in fixes your stuff, talks to you about your life, make sure you're happy you're content, or the guy who comes in and just slams a bunch of random computer facts down their throat. I mean, who do you who do you want to hear from? Or who do you want back to your office to help you again? And you have to mindful of that, sometimes less well, oftentimes less just means Maur. So I have a book and it asked me a deep question like, What is your current state of mind? And you have to answer it in one sentence and let me tell you, it's really hard. That's a really hard thing to do, is answer deep questions in one sentence. But that's how you get true mean potatoes, you know, I think Dave Ramsey, one of his slogans is, um I mean, it's like, uh, live like no one else. So later you can live like no one else. That's it. That's his whole thing. Is this whole motto I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired, and I only say this because I just read one of his books on finances because you have to costly be learning and growing guys gotta cost to be rekindling that fire. So I recommend a Ramsey for money books, and I'm not getting paid to endorse him in any way. I'm not gonna name any books just to prove it. I'm just saying you should cause to be improving. And that's something I got from him. In one sentence, he puts his whole point across. So in my in the book, it's it says, what is your current state of mind? Okay, put it in one sentence right now. What is your current state of mind if you're listening this show put it in one sentence. What? Your current state of mind right now. All right. And you have to answer that in one sentence. So if getting your point across and his little words as possible, it almost none. Maybe even none Is Maur impactful than promising someone the entire world and never delivery. So here's the main point guys say less doom or And when I first started coming out with podcast, I was recording in, like, 22 minutes to 25 and I was making an episode every day. And, man, let me tell you almost got blue blue in the face because he kept saying the same points over and over. I wasn't getting the point. There were No, there was nothing you could get from it. I was basically that I t guy. And now I know I'm probably not part I'm not perfect. And I know I'm probably adding some fluff that shouldn't add, but I'm way more concise. And like I said, this is only gonna be 11 minutes show. I used to do 22 minutes and I wasn't getting anything across. And now I'm like, Okay, I gotta focus. Hey, and by the way, go ahead rate.
