Are you ready to be entre Vied? Let's break free of the life we're told to live, create freedom and well, by adding value to others live, challenge traditions, challenge authority and get onto ified. Hey, guys, this is Jeff, and I am with the Patrick own entre fied doing some podcasts, and I will be doing a podcast today. This will be a little bit of a longer one, so I generally do some shorter podcast here lately. I've actually got a series called Five Minutes of Random Thoughts. This is not that so I just wanted to kind of make you aware that this will be a longer podcast. I might actually have to take some water breaks and things like that. You think? Oh, man, it's gonna be long now. I think it's really gonna be a great podcast, but it's a little bit longer than I generally do. And I'm going to try to get to the point. And I hope you guys get a lot of value out of this. I'm gonna get action points, things that you could do something about. But some of the stuff I'm gonna be sharing today could possibly change your life. It's that in depth. It's that good. In my opinion, it's stuff that I'm applying right now, and I hope you can get a hold of it and apply it to your life again. If you apply some of this stuff, it could change your life. And it's not just something I'm saying, but because you're gonna be seeing this before the end of the podcast. I really think it's applicability and pertinent to your life, and it can change your life if you're not applying some of these things, because the more productive and effective you become in life, I think sometimes the healthier you maybe now I'm no doctor. If you're looking for medical advice, I'm not the guy for you. I'm not a doctor, but I can tell you the more productive we we become, Sometimes I think our body does better. Our mind thinks better, you know, were made to be productive. In my opinion, I believe God made us that way, and, you know, it's one of these things. Before I get started, I'm gonna try to get to the point here in a minute. But before I get started, I want you to realize something. You know, this is something I think we all need to grasp. You know, some people work for retirement or they worked to just be able to relax. You know, that sounds really good. But I'm gonna tell you, if you've ever had the ability to not have to work, you didn't have any real obligations that don't that locking that only last for just a little while. Most of time with most people. It can drive you nuts. You want to get to the point, you find out what life is about for you. You make magic moments. It sounds strange, right? Here's what I'm trying to tell you. If you just live your life to get enough money to retire and relax the rest of your life, I think you're probably gonna be let down. You need to know what your vision is for your life. What you want to accomplish. I'm going to get more into that. I believe God made us to be productive. I can't tell you exactly what your vision is for your life. That's something that you'll have to decide on your own. But I'm going to start with the podcast. You thought? Oh, man, you're just now starting. I'm just now starting, but we're gonna get to the real meat right here, guys. So here was one of things I want to talk about in the morning. Are you dreading the day? Are you forcing yourself to get out of bed? Believe me, I've been there. But I can tell you sometimes if you say a lot of affirmations and no Well, I'm gonna feel good. I feel good. I feel good. I feel good or, you know, just just something to get you motivated. Sometimes it's not enough, guys. Sometimes it's the story you tell yourself in the morning. Sounds strange, doesn't it? Well, you know, if I could just get out of bed, I could go toe work. It could be early. Does that sound familiar? Probably not. You're probably telling yourself pillow feels good. If I could just lay on that pill a little bit longer if I get five or 10. 15 more minutes, you know, that could feel great. But let me ask you, does it put you in a productive state? If you're able to do that, does it seem like you start from a bad place. Now, sometimes we do need that balance. We need that rest. Don't get me wrong. But what if you started telling yourself the story of what you had to get done today? If you took five or 10 minutes, you set up in bad news that you started thinking about the story you're gonna make for yourself today. You started envisioning the things that she was going to get done. If I get this done that, I'll be able to do that. You started painting things in a positive way. You started saying You know what? I got 10 things to do today. If I get if I get up right now, somebody to be early and that all starts from one little small action. If you get up, like 10 minutes earlier than now, I'm not talking about going to extreme guys. Okay? I know something out there is like I can wake up two hours early. Yeah, you could burn out early too. You get to the pull it or you're like, I can't do this. This is too much. Start with just five or 10 minutes if you want to. Now, remember these um, these things, I'm telling you, it's up to you. I'm not your doctor, not even your coach. I'm trying to get you to the point where you can evaluate information and you can see what's Ah cannot be applied to your life that's gonna benefit you, because ultimately you have to be the person that's driving your success. You have to be the person that's taking charge of your life because there's gonna be times I'm not there. There's gonna be times that your mom and dad are not there, that your family is not there. Who is going to make you accountable if you always depend on somebody else? Well, the answer is you, and that's just a key right now. Just now gave you. It's one thing to know what you want. It's another thing to know how to do it. But the third part, sometimes it's really hard, and that's holding yourself accountable to doing it. Because there's a difference between logical and emotional. Say logically, that we think we want this this, that and the other. But when it comes to the emotion, when the next day when we don't want to get out of bed. We don't feel like getting out of bed and doing some of those things. So what do you do logically? You think you want these things, But emotionally you run into a brick wall, you start telling yourself the story of what you want out of life. You start putting those pictures of what she want to accomplish in Beijing. It in visioning. Did I say that right? Anyway, to the point, close your eyes, paint the picture of your life figured out, Get to the point where you think Here's what I want to do today I think about it. InVision Okay, I got five things. If I got out of bed right now, that's the point for you guys right now. Write this down. If you want to write it down, you don't have to write down all the context. Just this point. If I got out of bed right now, I could be early. Write down three or four things right now that you could do out of your day. It started visioning. The story of how it's gonna happen doesn't mean it's gonna happen that way. But you're getting your brain activated to get up and do those things. It's very important. You know, when you start being effective, you start getting mo mentum and moment, um, brings you to that next thing I'm telling you, sometimes you can increase your productivity 50 to 60% today. Why? How? Why and how is both the same manly. You feel better. You're telling yourself this is what I need to do. And your mind can make your body do things that you didn't even know was possible today you can feel better simply by being more productive sometimes. So anyway, what I'm trying to tell you the point is, start telling your step to start telling yourself productive things. Get to the point where you start telling yourself this story. Wake up early. I'm about 5 10 minutes. Maybe you can choose a bigger amount, but I'm telling you, be careful of that. Starts slow buildup. Small, consistent change. Five or 10 minutes. Start to set up in bed. Start telling yourself. Okay, this is these are the things I want to do today and get excited about it. You might not enjoy your job. You may not enjoy a lot of the things that you wind up enjoying well, that's some strange right. When you start becoming more productive, you'll start enjoying things that you didn't even know you would enjoy because we're made to be productive. Guys. That's my opinion. I've seen it in my own life. I've seen things that I didn't enjoy, that I started doing them and becoming Maur effective and my mindset changed and how I dealt with things changed in the next thing. You know, I'm enjoying something I didn't know. I even enjoyed it. So that's point number one. I've said a lot of things. It's almost 10 minutes, guys, and I've just laid one point on you. I'm really gonna try to speed it up a little bit, but that's the first point. Make sure did you get that? Sometimes we need to tell ourselves the good story. That was one of my points that I just said. You've got to go through this time to make the best out of it for the time that's coming up. Let me explain that you get to the point in your life where there are certain things you have to do with your time. You might not necessarily like those things. But if you get to the point where you make the most of the time that you've been given for the specific task, you could make it better. There's certain things we don't control. But if you can start thinking about how can I be productive? How can I be effective? How can I be the best me in this time? Give it. You might not like what you're doing, but it ain't like you got a choice guy. Sometimes you know the choices. You you've already really made a choice. Okay, I'm gonna be here. I've got to do this. So why don't I just make the best use of my time? Guys, I want you to understand that there's there's these things. If you tell yourself things you could do to be more effective, it's gonna help you in long term. You're not going to enjoy every moment. No, that's true. But if you start looking into how I could be better luck times you become better. You'll find ways to be happier. You'll find ways to be more productive, like you'll be happier when you're more productive. I've got a lot of notes. I'm gonna try to get to these guys, and I am gonna try to move faster. I'm sorry I'm a little bit slower today, but I want you to be able to get the idea to catch the vision out of it. I want you to be able to lay out what you need in your plan. That's the next thing. If you've got a lot of things Thio accomplished, I'm gonna try to move faster now. Guys, you got a lot of things to layout. Lay those things out in your plan. Your routine. You've got a lot of things to get done. Put it out in your routine. So can I. Won't accomplish this. That the other. This is the time. I have a lot of you know there's a verse in the Bible. I think it says something like this. Work it as you would to the Lord. I think that it's super important if you can catch the meaning of that. If you can catch the context of that when you start living your life like that, I'm not talking about just somebody telling you that working as you would to the Lord when you actually know and experience what that means. When you get to the point where you're applying that to your life, I think you're gonna see a great difference in your life. Focus on what you need to do in the moments that you're in. You know, if you'll focus on those things, the other moments, they'll take care of yourself. If you're always doing the right thing in the moments, focus on doing the right things in the moments. Don't be thinking about something long term. If you got something you want to write down, you know, I talk to you about the notebook. I hope you've heard one of my podcast about that. But the notebooks like this I have a notebook that section off that has notes in it, and I have a to do list in the front. I keep it pretty simple. You know, the things that got to do in the front. I write those down and then in the back I have, like, a notes section. I could put anything in. There was no sections, you know, just something. He hits my mind. Okay, I need to remember this for later. It's not really where I'm at right now. Let me say that again because I think you might have missed it. It's not really at its Not really where I'm at right now, but I don't want to forget it for later. So write it down. Just put it in your notes section, turn the page. You got a whole another section there. You can use some loosely paper. I know this might not be rocking your world, guys, but I'm gonna tell you, it's really affected me. It's really helped me in my life. Being able to subsection that off, have having my to do list. Having my notes section helps me, but be more effective. I'm having trouble talking today. I think it's because I've got a lot on my mind. I wanna add value guys to your lives. Hope you're getting something from this, but you know, I mentioned earlier If you're just close your eyes and praying to picture of what you won't, you know. Have you ever thought about really what you want? You know, you get one life, guys, but you know, I was gonna mention this lighter own and probably will in another podcast. I've heard the phrase one time that you only get one life. But if you live in well, it's enough. Are you living it well? Are you accomplishing the things that you won't accomplish? Say, I don't want to just give you emotional stuff gets your attention But I want to give you action steps on how to get from a to B. Okay, we've already covered one point. Make sure that you're riding down the points. If you don't get the notes, we have notes available. You don't have to ride down the points. Just listen. Grasp it. Grasp of the content. But close your eyes and just paint the picture of what you won't know. Starting out you may be looking at just your day, but if you keep doing this, you may be able to envision you're weak. You're month, possibly your year. I'd like to you to get to the point where you're looking at your 10 years and in your life. What's your main goes are for your life. But anyway, I'm talking about a lot of things. I'm slowing down. I'm trying to get faster, guys. So just bear with me here One of the things I want to talk to you about was work the whole time you're working. You know, if you work the whole time you're working at doing what you need to do. It'll give you more time. Hey, guys, listen, I think I accidentally hit my pause button on that. I don't know if my finger just hit it so you might get some dead air here. Let me get back to the point. One of the things that would try to start moving on a little bit faster here if you're needing to get Maur things done. But your time is taking up. Schedule it when you have more time. You don't always have to get things done in the moment. I know a lot of times I get in the mood. I want to get one thing done, but it may not be the time for to get excited about it. Get excited about what you're doing right now and write down the other thing that you need to do at a later time. Again, I'm gonna try to move on faster. Here's another thing. You may even get to the point us sign a percentage of your time to certain things So what I'm talking about is is I want you to have balance guys. And balance is really important in your life. If you don't know that, you'll soon find it out. Because a lot of people they were out that do too much too quick. You could even burn out on something. That's really good. You've got to get to the point that you find balance in your life and really, you may look at it is okay. I'm gonna work when I come home 50% of the time after work. Or maybe you're retired. Maybe you were in a business. I mean, it could be a different things for you. What I'm getting that is, is you get to the point. Were you assigned allotment of time for certain things that you want to get done? So I'm gonna give you spend time, my family. I won't make a couple hours here, and I want to work the other couple hours. You know, you can start assigning percentages of things that you want to get done. And I mean, it shouldn't be this stressful, right? I mean, things should be easier than this that you don't have to sign your time, But let's just be honest with his much electronics and things that we have that's supposed to free up your time. It seems like the more and more stuff that we have, the faster and faster that we're running all the time. You've got to find some downtime. You've also got to be productive, so there is a balance to that, and you need to find that balance for what's right for you. But I want you to write down what you expect from yourself before the time comes up. That's a point that you can put. Write down what you expect from yourself before you get there. For instance. You wake up in the morning, you say, Look, I'm gonna accomplish these things. I've got certain time frames I want to do with this so you write those things down, So when you come to those times, you can say, Look, this is what I'm gonna do because here's what happens. Ah, lot of times logically, we want to get things done and then we start thinking about it were like when we get to it were like, Oh, I don't really feel like that where I want to do something else. You know, you need to at least have a point of reference of something that you want to get done and know what you should be doing. You know, sometimes we we may take that break, but just realized if you take a break, doesn't mean you can't come back. Just means that you're taking a break right now, and it's up to you to get back on the horse. But I do want you to do this. At least write down what you're expected to do from yourself in a perfect world where everything may work out on your day and you don't have a lot of stress and you don't have to move things around. Okay, let's be real. You have to move things around Most of the time. If you're like me, there's things. It's coming in a lot of the different times and you have to figure out what's going on. I may have to juggle some things, don't get so caught up on doing specific things. It's good to have a plan, but when life happens, you have to adapt and kind of move on. Guys I know I've spent a lot of time on this podcast. I got so much stuff to share with you guys. But I feel like that. If I shared too much with you all at once, it may just be information overload. So I hope you've got something from this. If you don't have the notes to this, you can get our notes. We have notes available where you don't have to write all this stuff down. But it tried to focus on the points. The action steps, not just the context, is great to have context. You know how to put all this together. But look at the points that you can start applying it and taking action steps, guys, and that's what it boils down to. You know, I heard it said one time I believe it is Brian Tracy that said this, which really like some of the stuff that he says, you know, which I've known about his books for a really long time. One of things I think he says. And I hope I'm not getting this wrong, but I think he says something along the lines that, uh, everything is goals, setting goals and the wrist is commentary. You know, I thought that was a really good statement, and I probably didn't get that exactly right because I'm going by memory. But, ah, that's one of the important things is to set yourself goals. And he says that, you know, if I ain't mistaken, the rest is commentary. I think there's good that you can get from context. Goals are important, but you need training on how to put that into place, in my opinion. But, guys, I hope you've got something from this. Get our notes, get the points and start putting action steps. Start focusing on things, small steps that you can start taking action on. Guys, We'll see you next time.
